"Ooohhh shit Evelyn!" Tashi yelled from the drivers seat. She turned up the radio. It was our favorite old song that we used to sing when we were younger. She looked at me and I looked at her, we bounced our shoulders.
Then we began to sing aloud:

Outstandin'... Girl you knock me out.
I hear cars blowing their horns because we're holding up traffic.
I roll my window down and sing.
Exciting, makes me wanna shout.
"Yesss , that is my sonnnggg." I say in the car.
"E, what time are we gonna go out to eat?" Tashi asked.
I hold up six fingers... she is not about to make fun of my accent.
"I gotta focus on the road and you throwing up numbers." She said laughing.
"6 man, damn." She laughed, she always made fun of the way I say things.
"E, you still country as hell. Shawty" she mocks me.
Tashi is my first cousin on dad's side, we were inseperable when we were younger. My grandma referred to us as Mike and Ike. We did everything together, we got tattoos, piercings, shopped, and we even got baptized together.
Sadly, she moved our junior year in highschool. But she visited a lot and we talked everyday. Tashi was about 5'4, brownskinned, she had long natural hair, she had chinky eyes, chubby cheeks and the smallest ears you have ever seen. My cousins gave her the nickname Chip when we were little.
"Chiiiiippppp" I yell. As she pulled up into the house. "Yesss, my man is home" I bounced in my seat.
I ran into the house and yelled Jon's name, until I saw him in the living room with the girl from the mall.
"Babe, what's going on?" I ask in confusion.
"This is my cousin." He starts.
"Hey Evelyn,"she smiles and waves.
While holding her belly. I go and sit next to her and rub her belly.
"Hey girl." I reply pulling her into a hug.
"Shae, needs somewhere to stay." He said
"Nope the bitch can't stay here." Tashi interjected,
I glared at Tashi, "Continue." I tell Jon.
"She just needs to stay until she gets back on her feet." He says.
"Okay, fine with me." I shrug.
"I'm gonna take her to her mom's house to pick up some clothes." They both stand and leave.
"I'll start on dinner." I yelled. I turn to face Tashi, "What the hell is your problem?" I asked her.
"You stupid, just know that. Aint no way in hell I'm going to allow no pregnant ass bitch move in with me and my man." She shook her head.
"That's his cousin." I say in a sing-song voice.
"Family or not watch these hoes." She sat her purse down and washed her hands so she could help me cook. "Don't trust no female around your man. If you pick your purse up and go, every female in the house is supposed to leave with you...even your mama." She told me.
I shrugged her off, turned my built in internet radio with speakers in every room on and played some music.

"Like I was saying, go talk to Tashi." I tell Shamani, "she lowkey misses you. She didn't think your ass would leave."
"Here you go with relationship advice. Where your woman at?" He asked.
I said nothing, talking to him is like trying to explain the sounds of nature to a deaf person. "Exactly, I think they're both in the house now." He stands and walks to the kitchen.
He sits at the counter watching the women sing and cook. They way E was working that ass, had me in a.daze.
"What y'all cookin'?" Shamani kills the vibe and asks. They both turn around and roll their eyes at him. "Okay, I see how you gone act."
This fool walks around and whispers something into Tashi's ear. She puts some hand sanitizer on her hand. "I'll be back in 15 minutes." She informed E.
"Nasty asses, make sure y'all take them damn sheets off of the bed." I yell. "Whats up gorgeous?" I asked Evelyn who had on a jean jumper with a spider-man shirt on and a pair of blue converse and gold jewelry with her bun at the top of.her head.
"I'm cool wassup?" She looked at me with those piercing green eyes. She asked me and the continued cooking.
"Nothing," I responded. "I just wanna apologize for what happend lastnight."
"It's cool. Don't worry about it." She went back to cooking.
"No , I was way out of hand. Don't get me wrong you fine as hell but you my homeboys lady." I tell her.
"It's fine, I swear." She laughs. And leaves me in the kitchen. "I'll be back."
(Jon)
They've already met. I thought to myself. "So where did you meet Evelyn?" I asked Shae with a tight grip on the steering wheel.
"I met her at the store today, she and Tasha... whatever her name is was picking out baby clothes." She said.
"Well... what did she say?" I ask.
"JJ told her she was pretty, and she asked him what is his name. He said 'JJ' I introduced myself and then I left." She said. " I heard her tell Tashi that JJ looked like somebody she knew, she's beautiful Jon. I'm jealous." I chuckled.
"Yeah, she is isn't she." I reply stopping the car. She gets out and walks into her mom's house. I follow behind her.
"Mommy, where is daddy?" I heard my son's small voice.
"Check in the living room." She said.
"DADDY!!!" I heard JJ yell. Hearing his voice made me happy. "I got a new girlfriend." He said showing his missing teeth.
"Who knocked your teeth out? And whats her name?" I asked.
"Her name is Evelyn, daddy she gotta big ol' booty." He says making his arms go up in the air. "And she's also prettier than mommy." He said.
"Jonnnn," I hear Shae yell. "My water broke." I quickly scoop her up and put her in the car. We're about 15 minutes away from the hospital. But the way I was speeding through traffic we made it there in 5.
"Nurse, she's going into labor." I tell a nurse. They hurry up and get her loaded onto a stretcher and rush her upstairs.
To Rison: Tell Evelyn that Shae went into labor, and tell my momma to meet me at the hospital. Don't let E or Tashi come to the hospital.
From Rison: Aight, I gotchu.
After 3 hours of labor Shae gave birth to my 9lb 11oz babygirl. My mom named her Farrah Monae Hill.
From Rison: Uhhm, The girls are on.the way & Evelyn is bringing food for you all....
"Ooohhh shit." I yell. Only to be popped in the head by my momma.
"Watch your damn mouth around this child." She told me.
"Yes ma'am."
