Miku's POV
Why? Why'd she leave me?
My body feels weak and sore. My throat is dry, my lungs hurt, and my tongue feels numb... I shouldn't have done that unprepared, I could've at least brought water with me! Luka... A non-human, a thing I have feelings for. Left. She left me. Why did I think she could love a human, love something like me?
I've been naive to think someone as amazing and beautiful as Luka could love someone who's sweaty, scrawny, and stupid like me... "Miku?" Kaito says to catch my attention. "What's up?" He fumbles with his thumbs a bit and looks up at me "You love her. Don't you?" His eyes already know the answer and yet he wants an answer... "It doesn't matter. I'm human and she is... A slime."
The vehicle bumps on a couple of, what I can assume, big sharp rocks. Which causes us to stop. "Kaito. Check." I order in my raspy yet stern voice. Kaito exits the vehicle to check the tire along withe the driver... After a couple of minutes, he returns with troubling news "It's a flat tire ma'am. We'll travel by foot until. We aren't to far from a building." Great. First loosing Luka, and now I have to walk while having a severely dehydrated body.

Luka's POV
We searched the entire area, from behind rocks to random large holes in the ground. There is one place left to check considering hunting is less likely to occur in the area, they'd travel to a near by building with some group. If a group got to them first and didn't report in... Then I'll have to enforce some understanding as to why they should've.
"Listen. I get that this search isn't as important to everyone. However, we can't have another crisis on our hands." I point to the building, and everyone seems to understand our next location to search. "Let's go." Hoping on my cycle, we head for the building...
