~Warehouse, night~

A man, possessed by a demon sat tied to a chair in the center of a Devil's Trap. Sam was in front of him, interrogating, Ruby standing nearby.

"Where's Lilith?"

"Kiss my ass."

His eye's went black, Sam smiled at the comment.

"I'd watch myself if I were you."

"Why? Huh? Because you're Sam Winchester, Mr. Big Hero? And yet here you are, slutting around with some demon. Real hero."

"Shut your mouth."

"Tell me about those months without your brother. About all the things you and this demon bitch do in the dark."

Ruby looked over at Sam.

"Huh? Tell me, hero."

Sam couldn't control his anger and began to force the demon out of the man. The demon smoke burned through the floor, the Winchester breathed trying to get himself under control. Ruby looked down on the floor where the demon burned through and a small smile played on her lips. She looked over at the Winchester and they excahnged a look and Sam smiled a bit as well. Dean was looking in through a window behind Sam.

The man was unconcious and Sam checked for a pulse, which he had. He smiled up at the girl.

"How'd it feel?"

"Good. No more headaches." He untied the man.

"None? That's good." The man began to wake up.

"Hey, hey. I got you. It's all right."

He helped the man out of his chair and walked him to the door, when Dean opened it. Sam stopped in his tracks, looking at his brother, who was very angry.

"So...Anything you wanna tell me, Sam?"

Sam looked innocent and Ruby stood behind him, just watching Dean. The oldest Winchester walked closer as he talked.

"Dean, hold on, okay? Just let me-"

"You gonna say, 'let me explain'? You're gonna explain this? How about this? Why dont you start with who she is, and what the hell is she doing here?" Dean looked at his brother, who turned around and looked at the girl and smiled as she responded.

"It's good to see you again, Dean."

"Ruby?" She smiled a bit. "Is that Ruby?"

Sam didn't respond and Dean looked over at her again, who's smile was fading. After a moment, Dean grabbed ahold of her and shoved her up agaisnt the wall. He pulled out her knife and as he was about to strike, Sam grabbed his hand. "Don't!"

They struggled for the knife. Sam got it out of Dean's hand into his own, just as Dean threw him into the wall. Ruby grabbed Dean and pinned him against the wall.
