A man, named Bill Gibson, was having dinner while watching tv.
"Following the Civil War, the eyes of the nation turned to the West, where outposts like Fort Bellows served as-"
The lights went out.
"Aw, come on. Crap." Bill tried to open the door, but it's locked. "What the hell!? Man."
A closet door opened and a ghostly girl came out.
"You? I-It's impossible. Just stay away from me! Just stay away from me!"
The girl attacked and killed Bill.
~Impala, Night~
Sam woke up from sleeping in the backseat of the car. Dean was studying some papers, (M/n) chilling out in the passenger seat.
"What are you doing?" The young Winchester asked his brother.
"What's it look like I'm doing?"
"Like you're looking for a job."
"Yahtzee."
"We just finished a job like two hours ago." Sam said, sitting up.
"Adrenaline's still pumping, I guess. So, what do you think...Cedar Rapids, Tulsa, or Chi-Town?"
"I am all for working. I really am. But you got us chasing cases nonstop for like a month now. We need sleep."
"Yeah, we can sleep when we're dead."
"You're exhausted, Dean."
"I'm good."
"No, you're not. You're running on fumes, and you can't run forever."
"And what am I running from?"
"From what you told me. Or are we pretending that never happened?"
"Stratton, Nebraska. Farm town. A man gets hacked to death in a locked room inside a locked house. No signs of forced entry."
"Sounds like a ghost."
"Yeah, it does."
Sam sighed and flopped back down. (M/n) looked at the two at the sudden change of conversation.
~Inside House~
"Boy, three bedrooms, two baths, and one homicide. This place is gonna sell like hotcakes." The demon said, walking around.
The three entered the kitchen, opening cabnets. Dean spotted something on an empty piece of wall. "Hey, check this out." He knocked on it, it sounded hollow. "Huh."
"It's probably a dumbwaiter. All these old houses had them."
They walked into the bedroom.
"Well, no bloodstains, fresh coat of paint, it's a bunch of bubkes."
