"What do you mean I can't see them?!" Megatron demanded glaring down at Knockout. Knockout simply signed looking back up at Megatron with tired optics. Megatron tapped his ped impatiently staring at the medic with malice.

"I mean their mind is delicate and I don't know if they remember you. Remember me. Or remember the cons. When their body shut down their processor restarted, their memories aren't backing up properly so they had another relasp. Look I hate it too but you know how their processor is. It's been like that since berth. We don't know what's going through their helm or how to respond properly right now. We cant force them to remember." Knockout answered looking down sadly.

Their mind could only handle so much at once. It wasn't fair. Their time in the pits and the war definitely didn't help their whole situation. And their processor couldn't be fixed properly. There wasn't a matching processor piece that could back up all their memories and save them from their own forced amnesia.

"It's been a million or so years. You're one of the best medics there is! There has to be something!" Megatron yelled enraged. Knockout would have taken pride in the fact Megatron just called him the best medic on the decepticon side if he didn't feel like Megatron was about to kill him. Looking in his leaders optics he saw the truth. The anger was a front. Megatron cared about this person and they were dying in the worst way imaginable. Their mind was deteriorating while their frame was turning against them. Knockout let out a deep shaky intake refusing to look Megatron in the optics.

"Their processor isn't connected to their frames systems correctly. You know their time in the pits made things worse. Their... their..." Knockout stopped trying to think of the right term grabbing his nasal ridge frustrated as his inability to form a simple sentence to afraid for (Y/N). Annoyed his digits twitched in agitation. "... not right in the helm." He settled with that trying not to insult his friend or get his alt handed to him by Megatron.

"I know that DOCTOR. But how do we fix them?" Megatron questioned finally calming down as his shoulders relaxed.

"They need a new memory board to be installed into their processor so they can back up files correctly and stop forgetting things but taking out their old one would make them a clean slate. They... they wouldn't remember... anything." He paused fear, regret, sadness, anger, and grief like his own Megatron couldn't quit name what showed in Knockouts optics as he looked away again, the medics E.M field bristling in irritation at his inability to do anything. "Or anyone or have any old memories to call her own. They'd... They'd know the basic needs to survive but nothing else." Knockout said looking down thinking of everything they did together. Remembering every old memory and act some more special than others.

"Would the glitches, helm aches, processor reboots... and black outs stop?" Megatron asked solemnly glancing at his servos before clasping them behind his back looking at the med-bay door unsure. Knockout chose to ignore the tremor he saw in Megatron's servo and just continue to discuss options, despite how they made his tanks turn.

"I... I believe so. We'd need to do some research but... after some testing this would probably be the best way to deal with this. Though... I prefer them the way they are." Knockout said unsure as he fidgeted with his digits nervously like Megatron had done moments ago.

"If their processor is going to be wiped I want to see them now and say goodbye to the strong bit I knew. Maybe SoundWave can... arrange for some old memories to be implanted." Megatron barley whispered walking slowly towards the door.

"Lord Megatron that is unwise..." Knockout stated before trailing off when seeing his masters raging optics.

"This is my decision Knockout. Stand down." Megatron seethed glaring at the smaller in comparison medic.
