(Flute music fades away...)

As the wind passes by, I put away my lips from my flute's lip plate. I roam my eyes around the wide horizon where the sky meets the sea and clouds dancing above me. I smile to myself, "this is life" is what I thought while basking under the sun and embracing the cold wind as I closed my eyes. I breathed life and puff out happiness. "Such beauty is pure heaven" I announce while getting off my feet from an old cut tree where I was sitting on.

I fix myself up while plopping my flute unto my sling brown bag which I sewed myself using old clothes. There were patches everywhere but I couldn't care less as long I have a bag to put my things on.

I turned myself away from the ocean to face the vast woodland, strolling down from the ridge as the violent wind trying to tick me off my balance, holding my hair to prevent it from flying away. I carefully placed each foot in every step to each stone it touches as I don't want to die rolling down from this height. Few hikes after, I was able to land myself on a flat surface safely where the dark meadow is bound.

I entered the familiar wilderness once more, after all, this is the only way home. I've been entering this forest for long as I know.

As I have remembered, my first was when I was five where I followed a stray white fluffy rabbit and getting lost in the middle of the thicket. I was so scared that I peed on myself while calling for my mama and papa, sobbing helplessly. The forest back then was very frightening for a poor little girl like me. I chuckled as the flashback of my innocent days filled my thoughts.

I remember resting on one of the trees after exhausting myself from crying and wondering in the middle of nowhere hoping that Papa and mama would find me sooner because it was getting dark. I sat beside the big green tree, bracing my two knees with my hands to protect myself from the cold. I was getting sleepy and don't know what to do, I was thinking of getting eaten by a grizzly bear if I were to fell asleep. Nonetheless, drowsiness won over me.
