Part-10

When she opened her eyes,she was welcomed by darkness in the room.There was silence all over the room.

She removed the duvet,gaining Pinky's attention who was sitting beside her watching the tv which was muted.

"My daughter got up."she carrassed her hair lovingly.

"Maa,you here? What's the time? Where is Ayan he was sleeping with me na?" asked Annika worriedly.

Pinky smiled and switched on the lights.

"Relax Annika.You tell me how are you feeling now?"

Hearing Pinky Annika looked at her in confusion.She tried to wake up but felt much weakness.Pinky quickly held her hand.

"Don't you dare to move Annika.Do you know you did'nt get concious back since yesterday.Doctor has strictly advised to take rest." She scolded her.

She glanced at the clock.The clock was strucking five.But she did't know whether it was morning or evening.

"But Mom I'm fine.Why did I sleep for so long?" she asked wprriedly.

"My daughter you have fever.Doctor has come twice to check you.You could'nt eat medicine so drip has been attached to your hand." She said and that when she noticed.Drip was attached to her hand.

"Where are kids?Adi went to school or not or he has come.I did'nt even prepare his lunch." She tried to get up but her head spinned and she fell back.

"Annika beta,I said take rest.And Adi has returned from school.He did'nt want to go seeing your condition but Shivaay had sent him forcefully.And about your second ladla he remained with Shivaay only.Now both boys have gone to restaurant with Shivaay to bring food." explained Pinky.

"Maa,he will be angry na.Ayan troubles him a lot."

"No,he is'nt angry at all.In fact,he was very perplexed seeing you unconsious."

Annika looked on surprized.He was worried for her? Before she can speak ,door opened,Shivaay entered in the room followed by Adi.Shivaay was carrying Ayan and some shopping bags in his other hand.

"Pariii!!You got up." Adi on seeing Annika awaken, ran to her excitedly.

He throwed his toys away and climbed on the bed quickly hugging her.

He cupped her face in his palm and started speaking

"Pari,I missed you.You know I was calling you again and again but you were not opening your eyes.Pari,I had got scared.You were just crying,crying in sleep." he said looking into her eyes  with his tearful eyes.

Annika felt relieved as his tiny  cold hands touched her face.She looked deep into his eyes which were carrying so much worry and concern for her.Her eyes twinkled with happiness and She hugged him tightly.She was so much important for her kids!The mere thought made her feel blessed.

"Adi,This was the best confession of my life." She whispered in his ear while placing kiss on his hair.

"And I missed you too." She kissed on his forehead.

Meanwhile, Shivaay came to them.He looked at Adi

"Hogya?Now move aside.Your whole weight is on her.She is weak beta." he said looking at Adi.

"M..umaa." Ayan throws his hands towards Annika.Annika spread her arms.Shivay passed Ayan to her.

"Adi,get up wash your hands and make dadi's too.I will bring utensils till then." He glanced at Annika who was totally busy with kids.He sighed  and left from there.
