Unwanted Death

Peeta tried to run from Clove, but he was too late. Clove's knife embedded itself into Peeta's throat. Peeta fell.

Bang

One cannon went off but it wasn't for Peeta. It was for Clove; her heart was pierced by an arrow Katniss had shot. Katniss rushed to Peeta's aid; however, the damage done by Clove was fatal.

"Peeta please talk to me," cried Katniss.

"Katniss" Peeta chocked up blood. He cupped we face with his right hand and whispered "Win the game Katniss" in his last dying breath he leaned up and kissed her before falling lifelessly to the ground.

"Noooo!" Screamed Katniss. "Peeta wake up! Please wake up! I love you!" Katniss shook Peeta's lifeless body.

Bang

A canon went off, broken and scared Katniss leaned down to kiss Peeta's one last time before she had to leave the banquet. Katniss brushed his ashy blond locks to the side and closed his lifeless blue eyes. Then, Katniss traced his firm but soft lips with her pointer finger. She gazed at his face for what felt like eternity. Slowly she bent down and kissed him. Her baker boy died trying to aid her in the feast. She failed to save her savior at the bloodbath.

"Bye Peeta Mellark, you are the baker boy who stole my heart. I will love you forever." Whispered Katniss.

Katniss hastily ran back to Peeta and her hideout. She weeping endlessly till evening. In the night sky she heard the anthem and faces of today's fallen tribute glow in the night sky. Peeta's face was the first to be shown. Next was Thresh and lastly was Clove.

T-thresh died?! But how and when? Thought Katniss

Katniss realize right away that she was the last tribute left standing in between the career tributes victory.

I am the only tribute left standing between Cato and Marvel's. Once I'm killed, they will fight each other to the death and the last on standing will be the victor of the 74 Hunger Games. However, I mustn't lose to them. I need to win!

Katniss needed to kill Cato and Marvel in order to win the games for her lover and family. However, little did she know two figures were watching her from a distance.

"Peeta, I promise I will win for you and Prim." whispered Katniss who drifted off to sleep.
