Hollie woke up the next day, not really knowing what to do today. She had nothing planned for it and she knew her mum would be working. She just laid in bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking about last night. Her and Harry had spoken for quite a while until he had to go because he had a meeting this morning. After laying there for what seemed like ages to Hollie, she finally decided to get up and make a start to the day for herself. As she swung her legs out of bed and sat on the edge, she saw her dress hanging on the door which made her smile. Hollie got up from the bed and threw on a simple black pair of shorts and a white vest top, putting on some jewellery and brushing out her hair to make it look somewhat decent. She went and sat at her desk and decided to start editing the vlog from yesterday to try and give her subscribers a video to look forward to for today.
Hollie had unlocked her phone as she was about to post something on twitter but saw that she had a few texts. One from her mum, just letting her know work are keeping her for longer today. One from Sarah, who was just asking about what happened about Harry to which Hollie gave a quick reply to. Then she opened the last one, which was from Harry.
God this meeting is boring. What you doing today? x
Hollie gave a reply explaining she will probably just be editing the vlog from yesterday but that's it. When she touched send, she started her job on editing. She had just finished doing the intro when her phone started going off. She looked at the screen and saw it was Harry that was calling.
"Hello?" Hollie answered the phone, in more of a questionable manor because she was unsure as to why he would be calling.
"Heyy, I just finished my meeting and was wondering if you wanted to meet up?" Harry spoke through the phone. What the heck? Why would he want to hang out.
"I have a lot of editing to do though," thinking about the work she could get done today was holding her back.
"Then I'll come over. I will sit quietly in the corner," he promised but Hollie knew, even though he is saying that, he knew that he would be anything but quiet. Hollie soon gave in and told him her address to which they both hung up soon after.
Hollie heard the doorbell when she was half way through editing and huffed because she was on a roll with it all.
"Heyy," Harry smirked when Hollie had answered the door.
With a quick exchange at the front door, Hollie guided him upstairs to her bedroom and was about to sit back down at the desk.
"Oh! Wait! Don't come in!" she shouted as she ran towards the bedroom door and closed it in Harry's face. Running to where the dress was hanging and then tucked it away nicely into her wardrobe. "Okay, sorry. You can come in now," Hollie muttered out of embarrassment.
"What was that about?" Harry asked with a chuckle as he walked into her room and collapsed on the bed.
"I had a dress out that I am going to be wearing to an event in a couple of weeks and no one is allowed to see it," Hollie stated, feeling her cheeks turn red.
"Ahh, it's a secret," he muttered to Hollie and then took a glance towards Hollie's wardrobe, wondering what the dress looked like. He really wanted to know. "How far you got with editing?" Harry asked, as he watch the concentration on Hollie's face, trying to distract himself from his wondering mind.
"Nearly half way roughly. I am just about to get to the part where you crashed into me," Hollie stated with a teasing look as she turned towards Harry who had a sheepish look on his face.
"Not gunna lie, I'm kind of glad," he muttered and that was how the rest of the afternoon went by. The two of them getting to know each other properly, and just chilling the day away.
