I'm not sure about this one guys. Let me know what you think. I haven't written anything new new in a while. Vote. Comment. Thanks.
Ebonie had been desperate, that was the whole reason she tried online dating in the first place. She was twenty-five years old, a virgin, sinfully single, and painfully shy. She had not one friend in the world, not since her mom died anyway. She was alone and desperate for any kind of connection with anyone other than her dog ( named Kiba because she watched too much anime). So she tried online dating, it was easier to talk to people (men) online anyway. She was much more confident and witty behind a screen, and she wasn't forced to think of responses right on the spot.
So she had created a profile, dreadfully added a picture, picking the one she hoped didn't make her look too dark. If that was possible, people were always telling her she was too dark. And she waited. She didn't reach out to anyone first, much too frightened of rejection. So she went about the days after creating her profile with her (embellished) bio, as usual. She was an assistant to a kindergarten teacher and she loved her job because she loved children. The teacher she worked under was kind to her and the closest thing she had to a friend. She still didn't tell her (sort of) friend about her attempts to get into the dating scene or even when she finally snagged an interested candidate whose first words to her weren't an inquire into if she liked 'white dick' or 'can you make that ass jiggle'. No, she told no one (mostly because she had no one to tell) when a man named Hendrik, no last name, just Hendrik, he had said, reached out to her.
Hendrik was charming (thru text) and handsome (in his picture) like otherworldly handsome, with midnight hair and just as dark eyes. He had told her he got his coloring from his Turkish mother, he had talked very highly and fondly of his mother. Ebonie had seen that as a good thing, after all her mother had been an especially close person to her as well. When she had asked 'what his father was' she had wanted to beat herself up for just writing something and hitting send without reading it. That had been the whole point of this online thing to begin with! How could she ask that? What type of question was that?
Hendrik hadn't answered right away and the three appearing and disappearing dots at the bottom of the chat screen had filled her with trepidation. She was sure she had messed up and messed up big.
Finally, he had answered, and he said his father had been a monster. She hadn't asked him to elaborate on that and was simply happy he had responded at all instead of ghosting her silly, socially awkward self. Besides, she believed everyone had demons and maybe Hendrik's was his father.
So, they spoke for three months, three long months. Ebonie felt that was long enough and the feelings she had developed for Hendrik were getting to big to ignore of put off for 'safety sake'. She finally agreed to meet him.
When she had made her profile and finally linked up with Hendrik, she hadn't thought this was how it would go. Not in a millions years would her innocent, virgin mind conjure up that on the first date with a literal stranger she would be tasting her own juices after Hendrik returned from rendering her legs, quivering, useless mess to kiss her breathless once again.
She had heard somewhere you weren't suppose to kiss on the first date but here she was letting a man she just met do... a lot with his mouth. She knew that maybe she would regret this come the light of day and she knew that maybe this was all Hendrik wanted from her. But damn it! She was sick of being a virgin!
So, she didn't stop him when he undressed her and placed his mouth on her. She simply laid there like she had no idea what to do (she didn't) and made really embarrassing noises that seemed to amuse him to no end. Every time she would get too loud he would poke his head up form between her legs and smirk, his lips shiny and wet. Then he would shush her! And before she could get too abashed, he would swoop back down and make her eyes roll into the back of her head again.
"I have to say..." He said in that crisp tone of his as he pulled away from her lips, the ones on her face. "You have the most unique taste of all." She wasn't sure how to take that and she took it many ways, even with the euphoria lighting up her brain. First, he clearly had tasted a lot or 'all', whatever that meant. But she guessed that meant he had a lot of sexual partners. She really hoped she didn't catch anything! Second, was unique a good thing or a bad thing? His dark eyes were like a shiny, black stone as he smiled at her, she couldn't even see her reflection in his gaze. "Tis a good thing." His hand skimmed down her side, making her wiggle. She quickly broke eye contact. He laughed a laugh she felt in her own chest. "Oh, you're such a good girl." His words sounded almost distasteful.
"I..."
He shushed her again.
After that he fucked her. It hurt, not the losing her virginity part, well that did hurt, but the hole he tore in her neck hurt a whole hell of a lot more.
As she fell unconscious, she couldn't help but think online dating was the worst.
