The bell rang for 1st period, which they were spending as an extra homeroom class so that they could settle in better. Their teacher started attendance. Lyra was curious as to the identity of the currently nameless hottie sitting in the middle of the room. About halfway through the list of names, the teacher called the name Nathan Reed, and the hottie replied, "Here. And just call me Nate." 'Nathan Reed... Jeez, even his name is hot.' Lyra thought to herself, smiling a tiny bit. After attendance, they all got their class schedules, which showed that their next class was Math, then ELA, then... Phys. Ed... Lyra's least favorite class. Then she remembered what she was wearing. 'Aahh!!! I'm not dressed for this!!!' She thought, her small smile quickly fading. The bell rang for second period, and everyone got out of their seats and left for their next class.
