I was in the waiting room not leaving his side till he remembered me, everyday his mom would talk a little more about me to him and little by little he would remember things, like the day we met, our plans for the future, and just memories, she would show hi. Pictures of us and he would snile, it was like my whole world would lite up. I haven't slept in 3 days, I just love watching him sleep, it's the only time I really have with him. I go home to take a shower and when I come back there is a woman in his room, she has long black hair and she's drop dead gorgeous, 10 times prettier then I ever thought of being. There talking and holding hands, I just want to run in the room and say he's mine but It could be family even though I know most of them. I walk in slowly and say hi, how are you feeling ? The girl stands up an says who are you ? I felt like I was put on the spot about to die. I'm his girlfriend I say slowly and back up... She laughs and walks out the door. who was that I ask ? I lost it, I was balling my eyes out and I couldn't stop, I had never been in so much pain before. it felt like somebody grabbed my heart and stomped it. I walk out the door and I see the girl again, i stop and give her a look and say I hope your happy with him !! She responds with I am, and I have been for 6 years hunny.
I continue To walk with tears down my face; just the thought of him being with another girl kills me but for 6 years ? Wow that's a lot more then I ever expected & for him to remember her and not me kills me even more.
