I woke up to the smell of salt water and seaweed. I opened my eyes to see a wide blue sky. I didn't freak out, just layed there, looking at the sky. I heard a scream. I knew the plane crashed and I knew not everyone survived. I looked at my arms, they were fine just dirty with a few cuts I wish I could say the same for my legs. They were covered i cuts and oozing blood. My sweatpants were all ripped up and dirty and my shirt was in tatters. I heard the scream again. I knew I should try to get up and help who is screaming. I was prepared for the worst when I tried to stand up. That is all I remembered until I woke up again and saw the same sky but Kenzie's face was blocking the sun. I was so happy she was alive. I smiled, I couldnt even imagine how hard this could be for her. I raised my upper body and hugged her. She started crying into my shoulder. I grabbed her and scanned her for injury, she appeared to be fine and for that I was thankful. "It's Maddie." She said while bursting into tears. She helped me walk to where Maddie was. I saw one wing of the plane by us and it was in flames. She walked me behind the wing, and there lay Maddie. Her eyes wide open her arms cobered in blood and one of her legs no where to be seen. I covered my mouth and gasped. "Maddie?" I said wondering if she could hear me. She didn't respond, she just lay there with her bulging eyes and cut up body. Kenzie ran off and started crying. I kneeled down to Maddie even though my legs were pouring out blood. I knew I had to drag Maddie away from the fire so I asked Kenzie to help, She knew she had to so she agreed. We dragged her a couple feet away from the wing. "Kenzie you stay here im going to go look for more people." I said with a soothing tone. "Ok." She said holding back tears. I started walking and scanned my surroundings, We were definetely on an island but where? We were flying to Europe and there are not much islands inbetween America and Europe. I just stopped thinking ad told myself to concentrate on finding someone. Anyone for that matter. I saw seaweed and I knew seaweed washed up on the shore so I started following it and saw sea... and a body. I ran over and nearly collapsed then remembered my legs were hurt. So i jogged over to the body praying that the person wasnt dead. It was Abby. She was soaking wet and didn;t look very injured at all. I tried to wake her up by skaing her and yelling, "Abby.... Abby? Abby!" She didn't budge and her eyes didn't open. That's when i realized we were not getting off of this island and that all of us are going to die.
