Lost

Chapter 3: Kenzies POV

"Maddie?" I croaked. No response.... I needed Chloe here. What if Maddie didn't wake up. "CHLOE!!!??" I yelled almost bursting into tears. I scanned my surrounding looking for Chloe and maybe even Kendall or Nia with her. I caught my eye on some movement in the bushes. I prayed it was Chloe and hopefully another survivor.... well it was Chloe, and Abby?! I ran over there completely forgetting about my dying sister and hugged Abby tightly. I saw Chloe smile alittle then she ran over to Maddie. I pulled out from the hug. I started bawling. Abby grabbed me and hugged me again but I couldn't stop crying. "Maddie?!" Chloe gulped. I ran over, still crying a little. "Maddie is alive!?" Abby practically screamed with joy. "If we can keep her alive." Chloe sighed. Maddie's eyes opened, we all moved our faces in closer to her. A look of fear struck her. She immediately tried to back up against the tree we laid her next to. She started gasping and looked like she was gonna pass out. "Shhhh sshh it's ok Maddie your ok." Chloe reassured her. Her kind smile gave Maddie warmth. Maddie gulped and let out a couple of normal breaths. "Where are we?" Maddie said still worried. We all frowned at the thought. Maddie looked around. "Last thing I remember is..... oh my god." She finally figured out what was going on. She let a tear slide down her face, we all started crying at the thought that we are not all getting off of this island, maybe none of us.

*later that night*

We all sat around a small fire. Silence ruled over us. We all just sat there... looking helpless. "We need a plan." Chloe broke the ice. "I agree." Maddie peeped. Me and Abby nodded. Chloe grabbed the nearest stick and drew a circle in the sand. "This is base." She said, acting like she was a professional. "We need to look for survivors, but the jungle starts here." She drew a bigger circle around base. "So no passing these boundaries looking for food, water or survivors. We don't want anyone getting lost." We all nodded. "You sound like we are going to be here a while..." Maddie croaked. "Who knows." Chloe sighed. "Where are we going to sleep?" I interrupted. "Ummmmm.... follow me." Chloe rose up from the sand. I followed. She lead me to a small bed of grass and a big pile of leaves, almost like a pillow. "Don't tell anyone, but i made this just for you lil Kenz." She grinned. I smiled back and hugged her. "Thank you." I whispered. She walked back to the fire. I laid down on the pile of leaves and fell asleep right away.
