"it still scares me tho." roxanne says to percy. "sofia is so gorgeous though and she plays a potential love interest for ricky man" percy just shakes his head. "roxanne. you are one of the most gorgeous people on this planet. joshua loves you. that's all that matters" percy says. roxanne smiles, pretending that she believes him.

for some reason, all roxanne can think about is how joshua has to see sofia all the time, and roxanne knows how she feels. she knows how it feels to love someone who doesn't love you back. she thinks that sofia will do something or make him look at her instead. these thoughts overfill her head as she stares at the ceiling. "percy, emmy is here to pick you up" roxannes mom peeps her head in the door. roxanne sighs even deeper realizing she'll be alone. "i'm sorry." percy says hugging roxanne and leaving. roxanne smiles and waves goodbye.

"did you seriously come here during your lunch just to see me?" roxanne hugs him. "yes. i did" joshua smiles. "i just want you to know roxanne. i have no feelings for sofia. she's like a little sister to me. you are my #1, always" he says. roxanne smiles. hugging him again. "i know that. but i was so scared" she burrows her head in his shoulder. "roxanneeee listen to me. you are literally the most beautiful girl i've ever met. you're insanely talented, sorta good at cooking, but that's okay." he laughs. "anyways, hearing your name still gives me the same butterflies i felt when i saw you at the disney store. baby u da hottest in da world right now" he randomly starts singing. roxanne laughs and looks at him. "thank you for everything" she cheesily says. "i l word you." joshua smiles. roxanne smiles back. "i l word you too." she laughs. joshuas phone rings and he answers it. "hello?" he says. he looks at roxanne then hangs up. "i gotta go back" he frowns, making puppy dog eyes. "i'll see you soon." he kisses her and gets back in the car.
