Cosmo, Chloe, and Poof were wasting the day away in the sweltering summer heat. Chloe sighed with content as she stretched out her arms, peacefully enjoying the sun. The purple toddler beside her yawned comfortably, shifting to his side as he napped.

The break from chaos, and wishes had left the two in a dazed bliss, however Cosmo was a completely different story, he was pacing around, and fidgeting from boredom.

"Chloe!" the grown man whined, "I'm bored!"

Chloe let down her glasses to look at the green fairy, "Cosmo, why don't you come relax with us?" She offered sweetly.

Cosmo shook his head, "Ugh! Boring!"

"Did you try calling Wanda? When do you think she'll be back?" The girl asked.

"She won't pick up!" Cosmo cried bringing up his phone showing the frantic text.

"Well what do you want me to do Cosmo, I don't want to cause a ruckus before Wanda, and Timmy come back." Chloe said sitting up to face the child-like wish-granter.

"Make a wish, make a wish!" Cosmo said all to eagerly.

"Cosmo..." Chloe drifted off trying to find a way to convince the other about her concerns.

"Fairies explode when they don't make wishes, remember!" Cosmo tried frantically.

Chloe tried her best not to laugh, "It's only been two hours, Cosmo."

Poof rolled over to look at his father, slightly annoyed from the interruption from his nap, "We can play a game, Papa. You like games."

Cosmo looked a the small boy, and then began to cry like a small boy, "There's no one to play with!"

Poof looked to his father with a familiar sadness, "Oh, Papa..." Poof floated over to the crying fairy, the pout from an unfinished nap now gone, "I know how you feel, Papa. Being lonely is no fun. I'll play with you."

Chloe looked at the fairy toddler in confusion, "What do you mean, Poof? You're friends with everyone." she got up from her deckchair to join her fairies.

Poof sighed, "Well being the only fairy baby born in over thousands of years... it gets lonely."

Chloe made a strange sad noise that made Poof wince, she joined their hug in a strange kind of sob.

Cosmo then flew up in excitement, "I know, I know! Chloe should wish for another fairy baby!"

Poof clapped his hands in a child-like glee.

But Chloe looked at Cosmo with such horror, and confusion. As though he had asked her to fund a non-eco-friendly corporation!

"Oh, Chloe, you know the story. When a mommy fairy, and a daddy fairy love each other very much they ask their godchild to wish them a baby!" Cosmo said as though that made it make more sense.

Poof shook his head in a strange adoration for his father, "You weren't here when I was born, but Timmy kind of wished me into existence." the smaller fairy explained.

Chloe's eyes began to glisten in joy, as she gasped dramatically, "Really, let's do, let's do it!"

"All on you, kid! Just say the words!" Cosmo said as he prepared his wand.

Chloe puffed out her chest in confidence, "Cosmo, I wish for another fairy baby for Poof to play with." she smiled at Poof making the small boy giggle.

Cosmo's wand glowed brightly showing that the wish had been granted.

Chloe jumped around in anticipation, "So, where is she, where is the baby?!"

Poof and Cosmo giggle at her response.

"What? What did I say?" she asked completely in the dark.

"Oh, poor, clueless Chloe. Fairy babies have to grow and be born just like human babies." Cosmo said as he hinted to his stomach.

"Yeah, except, the daddy has the baby instead of the mommy." Poof added floating to his father's side.

Just as Chloe was beginning to process what was being said, Wanda, and Timmy walked in.

Cosmo rushed over to Wanda ecstatically, "Wanda, Wanda! Guess who's pregnant!"

Timmy spit out his soda he was drinking, "don't tell me it's you!" he choked.

"It's me! Chloe wished for a baby" he said as his hands flew into the sky.

Wanda put her fingers on the bridge of her nose, "Cosmo, it not like I'm apposed to another baby, but you know Jorgen forbid any babies until Poof was grown enough, if he finds out he'll."

"He'll what?!" a booming voice came from behind the group.

They all shivered in fear.

Crap!

"J-Jorgen!" Wanda and Cosmo both said at once.

"So, you two are having another fairy baby? Are you?" He asked seeming almost excited- but in all the wrong ways.

"No!" They all squeaked, obviously lying- excluding Poof who was cowering over a bee.

"Well you will be the first to experience the catch!" Jorgen laughed with a hint of malice.

"W-what catch?" Cosmo, and Wanda shivered.

"You'll find out, won't you! Haha! You all will be the example for fairies who don't follow Da Rules! Hahaha!" Jorgen answered.

"Actually Mr. Jorgen sir. That rule isn't written in Da Rules chapters." Chloe said politely flipping through the book.

Jorgen's eyes flew open in affronted shock, "it isn't?!" he then began flipping through the book for himself

Jorgen sucked in his boisterous laughter immediately, absolutely spurned by the insinuation that he, Jorgen Von Strangle could ever- oh...

"Whoops!" he brought out his red pen, and scribbled in some sloppily written words, "My, bad..."

Timmy and Wanda both rolled their eyes, the previous fear now replaced with amused snirking.

"I have to go...-" he halted stalling for an easy way out.

"brush my teeth! I'll make it up to you someday Turner," The large fairy was quick to poof away leaving a cloud of an unexplainably awkward smoke.

"Me? What does this have to do with me?" Timmy laughed turning to his companions with no sign of actual concern, "this is on you Chloe. You'll be taking care of Cosmo and Barfolomew jr."

Cosmo menacingly giggles in the background.

Chloe retrieved the edited copy of Da Rules, "of course! I'll do all the research on pregnancy- ..and probably male-fairy-pregnancies...?"

"Yeah- that, whatever. Now what?"

Chloe shrugged, "Wanna play monopoly?"

Turner looked back to her with challenge in his eyes, "You know it!"
