The One For Me [On-Hold]

Chapter 1

My notebook was missing. Out of all the books I had, it had to be this one. This was the beginning of everything. Only if I knew that a small silly book could cause this big a problem!

So, about the book, it contained a secret about me that nobody knew, that I had a crush on one of my classmates.

I don't really know the difference between crush and love, so I'm not actually sure which one it is.

The only thing I know is that I couldn't keep my eyes off him. I often imagine confessing when we're older but then I think better of it.

He was just so perfect. His tall nose and big eyes and long legs. He was also smart, unlike me, and he also played football. Enough about him for now.

So, the thing is, the great and stupid me actually wrote "I love you, Gage" in that notebook. Yeah, I know, it's the most cringey thing I've ever done. And well what do we know, the notebook's missing.

We were having our mid terms and I was outside my exam hall, which was the library. I realized it was missing when I searched for it to look at some pointers I had written in it. I was so freaked out. Forget the exam, I need to save myself from being humiliated first!

Why did I even write that. I mean, who does that? Let me answer that-No one. My only hope now is that even if someone found it, they didn't open it .

"Hey, Selene, is this yours?". Someone said suddenly waking me up from my deep pool of thoughts.

It was my Notebook! You can't imagine how relieved I was.

" Yeah, thanks it's mine." I quickly took the notebook from the person's hand and looked up to see who it was.

It was another one of my classmates, Kevin, he was one of Gage's friends. I turned around after thanking him and looked for my awkward confession but the page was missing.

" Hey, don't worry I won't show this to Gage." I looked at what he was holding up. It was a page of my book, and it said " I love you, Gage."

That marked start of my unlucky days .
