So hi, hey - it's me Garmadone again :> As I mentioned in my previous chapter, there is one particular reason why Kai is one of the shortesr ninjas.
In our headcanon Kai is trans. He was born as a girl, but he's in process of changing his gender. He is wearing a binder ( example in previous chapter ) and takes hormones.
Kai is really anxious of his height. He'd love to be taller, cause let's be honest - tall people are so cooool! Cole and Jay like to tease him about it and he always lose his cool.
To be fair, being trans doesn't really bother Kai, since he's really confident about himself. However, he doesn't want to undergo any surgeries, because it'll take time for him to recover and he won't be there if his team needs him. He wishes to be fully himself but at the same time he's in no position to chase his dream. Give him a hug, Lloyd :c
Our fire boy is also pan. He really felt something for Skylor, but his heart rn belongs to Lloyd. I imagine them as the cheesiest couple possible ( especially Kai ) Not-so-funny pick ups and jokes. My sister drew them in this situation and I'll add her drawings!

I also think that Lloyd and Kai would this couple always hugging. Who would be the jealous one? Well, that's easy - of course it would be Kai! Although Kai is popular, Lloyd knows that he wouldn't cheat on him. However when someone even try to hit on Lloyd, our fire boy would attack.
