Chapter 1:

Before this story starts we twisted up the anime plot. So you won't find the anime storyline in here. This is not the following: SasuNaru, SasuSaku, NaruHina, KakaSasu or KakaNaru. NO SHIPPING AT ALL in this story just to make it clear.

Naruto's P.O.V

I ran up to the Hokage's tower. I burst through the door. There he was doing that pile of paperwork. "Rojin-san! I got to ask you something" I was puffed out. He lifted his head up slowly to match his dark brown eyes matching my light azure ones.

"What is it Naruto?" he asked

"Who... who were my parents?" I asked quietly. My eyes burning for the answer. He merely sighed and put down his pen. He looked down sadly into his hands and looked back up.

"Naruto, I can only repeat the same answer. Your parents were Kushina Uzumaki and Minato."

I mentally yelled. "That's always the same answer! I NEVER GET ANOTHER REPLY!" I yelled at him.

"Everything is useless. Pathetic. What is the job of the Hokage if you can't give someone what they need." I muttered angrily under my breath. As I stormed out of the Hokage's office I ran into Iruka-sensei.

"Naruto what's with that look?" he asked, "Your face is dark as a thundercloud."

I frowned "Rojin-san wouldn't tell me"

Iruka smiled "You know what would cheer you up?"

"What?" I asked

"Ramen., he replied smugly

"OK, YOUR PAYING! RACE YA!" I stuck my tongue out as I ran towards my beloved ramen.

Iruka's P.O.V

I walked out of the academy tired, of the pile of paperwork I had to fill out. I walked into other than my student, Naruto, I saw him as a child of mine. I was there for him. I looked at him. His face was dark as a thundercloud. His brows were furrowed and his eyes in a faraway place. I sighed. I knew why he was like this.

Iruka sensei?" Naruto asked, "I need to ask you something."

"What is it?" I asked just out of curiosity.

"I...I... I want to know more about my parents!" Naruto blurted out. I sighed. I knew a lot but by the Hokage's orders, we were not allowed to.

"Naruto... I"

"I get it... You can't tell me. Right?" Naruto looked away from me trudging away. The disappointed look he had on his face was like a punch in the guts.

"Naruto wait!" I yelled. He turned around.

"What is it Iruka-sensei?"

"The... the Hokage might tell you." I told him. His face light up almost instantly.

"Thank you Iruka-sensei!" he ran off without giving me a backward glance. I sighed what a meddlesome kid.

Then I saw him walking out of the Hokage's tower. I felt bad.

So I asked him for Ramen. His mood changed instantly, his brash, loud and cheerful attitude was back again which reminded me of Kushina.

I ran after him. "NARUTO!!"

Naruto's P.O.V

I ran to Ichiraku's there were my friends.

"H-h-h-hi Naru-naruto-Kun" stuttered Hinata. Honestly, I didn't know why she was so shy.
