Chapter 17

Janet's POV

After an amazing anniversary surprise last night, it's time for us to back to Cali. I started to pack my stuff and Ronnie started to pack his and we started to make our way downstairs.

We put our bags in the trunk and went back in the hotel. Ronnie gave the keys back to the worker and signed out. We went back to the car and we was on our way to the airport where the private jet was.

"I don't wanna leave😩." I said whining .

"Well, we gotta leave so we can see if we're having a boy or a girl." Ronnie said rubbing my stomach.

"Yeah, you right." I said.

We pulled up to the airport and we put the car in park and turned it off. I got out the car and went to the trunk and got my bag and Ronnie got his. I went back in the car to get my phone. I locked the car door as Ronnie shut the trunk.

"Do we have everything?" He asked.

"Yup." I said.

We walked in the airport and we pulled out our tickets. After that, we had to pass through the medal detector. I took all my belongings off and sat it in the bucket. I put the bag down and walked through it. The medal detector went off.

"Ma'am we're gonna have to check you." the officer said.

" I ain't got nothing on me." I said stepping out the way.

I waited for Ronnie to go through. The medal detector didn't go off.

"Ain't this some bullshit," I said yelling, "when he walked through the muthafucka, it didn't go off. But when I walked through it, it wanna go off."

"Ma'am calm down." the officer said.

I started to tap my feet and put my hair up in a high messy bun. After that, the officer took his medal detector wand and wand me. The wand stopped at my breast as it was going off.

"Ma'am is there something in your bra?" the officer asked.

"It's a wire bra." I said.

"Well, you can go then." He said.

"Ight." I said walking to Ronnie while he was holding my stuff.

"I put your bling in your bag since the officer took you." he said.

"Thanks." I said as I grabbed my bag.

We made it to jet and we put our bags down and I sat in the seat. I pull my earphones in, put my seatbelt on, and went to sleep.

(4 hours later)

"Baby, wake up." Ronnie said.

I took my earphones off and looked at him crazy.

"Why did you wake me up?" I asked him.

"Because we're home." he said.

I looked around and saw that we was at the hotel where we stayed at til our house is fixed.

"How in the hell I got in the car?" I asked.

" You was in a deep sleep so when we landed in California, I tried to wake you up, but you didn't wanna get up. So, I carried you bridal style to the car, put you in the car and went to get the bags." he said.

"Oh😑." I said.

We got out the car and I went in the hotel, went in the elevator to my floor, unlocked the door, and went on the bed and took my shoes off. I saw that Ronnie was struggling with the bags.

"I could use some help." he said.

I got up and helped him with the bags. I put the bags in my room and went in the bag and took my dirty clothes out. I put it in the dirty clothes bin and went to the closet to get a bra, panties, and a towel.

I went in the bathroom and ran a nice warm bath. I put a cup of bubble soap in the bath. I took my hair down and my clothes off and got in the tub. The water felt so nice and warm, I fell asleep in the tub.

Janet: I'm so sorry, Ronnie. I never meant to hurt you.

Ronnie: How could you do this to me, Janet? After all the things we went through.

Janet: Please forgive me. I love you.

Ronnie: How can you love me? You just told me that you slept with one of my enemies? Then you just said that the baby is not mines. I wanted a kid for so long and to think I was gonna be a daddy. You hurt me so bad, Janet. I'm getting a divorce. I'm leaving for good.

Janet: No, please don't leave me, Ronnie. Please😫😫😫

I woke up and saw that I was still in the tub. The dream felt so real. I got my body wash and washed my body and my hair and unplug the bath tub. I put some leave in conditioner in my hair and dried my body off. I put the towel around my body and went in the closet.

I picked out a gray maternity shirt, a pair of ripped skinny jeans, and my gray flats with the bow on top. I put some lotion on my body and put my bra and panties on, my jeans, put on some deodorant, my shirt, and my flats. I let my hair air dry since I got a permanent wave in my hair now instead of straight hair.

I went in the bathroom to put on my eyeliner and mascara. I saw Ronnie coming out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. I bit my lips as I was looking at his six pack. He came to me and wrapped his arms around me.

"I can't wait to see my new son." he said.

"Naw, it's a girl. I can feel it." I said laughing.

I went in the bathroom and put my mascara on and eyeliner. I went to the living room and saw that Ronnie had on a blue polo shirt with his white Levi jeans and his white and blue forces.

I grabbed my keys, wallet, and phone and me and Ronnie went to the car. We got in the car and I turned it on. I backed the car up and put it in drive.

(30 minutes later)

We pulled to the doctor's office. I put the car in park and turned it off. Ronnie grabbed my hand before I got out.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Ready." I said.

We got out the car and walked in holding hands. Can't wait to see what gender it is.
