Janet's POV
As I pulled up to the hospital and ran inside, a lot of things was rushing through my head. I went to the front desk and asked the nurse what room was Ronnie in.
"He's in on the fourth floor room 412." she said.
I went to the elevator and went on the fourth floor. I ran off the elevator and went to room 412. When I went in there, I saw Ronnie. He was in the bed with a lot of cords and stuff all on him.
"Ronnie," I said.
"Baby, is that you?" In a scruffy voice.
I went over to him and rubbed his hand "I'm here, baby."
He patted the bed to sit next to him, so that's what I did.
I asked him, " What happened to you?"
"All I remember was that I went into a house with Kirk, Frankie, and J man to handle some business, when I walked over to Joey and asked him why did he betrayed me and then he smirked at me and then he pulled the gun out and shot me in the stomach." He said.
The doctor came in. He told me to step out for a minute. I gave Ronnie a kiss and told him that I would be back. I got on the elevator and waited to get off. After I got off, I went outside and sat on the bench and started to ball up and cry.
I hated when Ronnie wanted to take over his family business, but I hated even more when I have to go through this. I went back up to the fourth floor and went in his room. I told him that I was gonna spend the night up here with him and he was happy.
It was starting to get dark outside, and I was hungry. I asked Ronnie if he was hungry, and he said yes. So I went down to the food court and bought some chicken noodle soup for Ronnie and a grilled chicken salad with Italian dressing on it with two cans of sprite.
I went back to Ronnie's room and gave him his food. I sat on the couch and started to eat my salad. I looked over at Ronnie and he started to look at me. He smiled at me with a bunch of noodles in his mouth. I started to laugh and he started to laugh.
After that, I laid in the bed with Ronnie and watched Hocus-Pocus. He put his chin on his head and started to mess up my hair. I looked up at him and gave him a crazy look. He smiled at me and pecked my lips.
"I love you, babe. He said.
"I love you too." I said
I fell asleep on his chest. I felt happy that he didn't leave me.
