Chapter 1 New Mission

*^ SKYES POV^*

It was another day in shield. Simmons and Fitz were fighting over some science stuff that I don't understand, May was being depressed over ward since you know he betrayed us, and Phil was in his office doing who knows. Then there's me, Skye, on my lap top hacking NASA . Normal day.

"Team get up here" Phil said in the speaker.(they probably don't have a speaker but whatever)

We all walk up the stairs up to Phil's office and see him sitting in his chair.

"Listen up, we have a new mission it's very serious."

I wonder what it is I mean we've never really gotten a 'serious' mission it's usually the simple stuff like bad guys in Mexico or something.

"We, are going to be watching and working with a certain god. I don't know which god yet but we will find out soon."

Everyone's jaws fell to the ground I was really surprised well everyone was, haha.

"Why would Nick Furry give us a mission like that were pretty much still newbies!?" May said in a surprised and angered voice. I don't know why shes angry we'll be updated to higher status if we get this mission done and over with.

"He has seen our progress and likes it so he decided to drop a god on us I don't know why though I guess someone can ask him when he boards."

After he said that everyone exited the room, Fitz and Simmons were excited about the god and mission.They wanted to be the 'God's' baby sitter.

They can get really annoying I mean like ugh. They always talk about science and their British accents don't make it any better you know.

After a while I got bored and I went to my bed and got out my lap top and searched up Greek gods the only two that are the most possible candidates are Thor and Loki. I would be surprised to see either of them.

It could be Thor because we need to work with the god, but Loki is like the baby of the avengers so maybe they wanna drop Loki on us.

I don't know. I'll just find out Friday and I'm pretty excited even if it could be Loki. Either way I can't stop thinking about it, later I fell into darkness.

$~ UNKNOWN POV ~$

I can't believe father is going to put me with stupid Midgardians I rather be with my brother and the stupid Avengers than them.

When I was in my room pacing I didn't notice someone walk in.

"Brother"

I turn to the door and see an amused Thor. "What?" I snap at him. He looks at me with pity and I glare back.

"Loki ,my brother,if you would've listened to father then you wouldn't be in this position." He's right but I don't have the patient to deal with him.

So when he said that I pointed to the door and said "Leave."
"Broth-" he tried saying
"JUST! Leave." I said and turned to face outside on my balcony and leaning on the rail.

Then I heard foot steps and a door closing. I then walked to my bed and lifted the covers.

Why is it always me that is looked down upon. They would never understand what it's like to be different and want to get revenge, and be told your parents are to your real parents. I'm furious.

I'm always the one getting punishments and hurt.

I went under my covers and asked

"Why me?"
