Wow... Where would we even pick up after what happened last time? That explosion surely killed all of them. ...It didn't kill them? What?? I knew I should've rioted. Oh well...

The air was full of ash and smoke left over from the explosion of the lab. Sunset, Dee Dee, Kevy and K were all lying on the floor in pain, covered in soot and SOMEHOW not dead.

"Ughhhh.... I hate that little yellow jerk with every fiber of my being." Sunset sat up, shaking the soot off and rubbing her head in pain. The others did the same.

Kevy groaned. "Tell me about it. Next time I see 'im, I'm gonna kill 'im!!!"

"Please do." Sunset coughed a bit from accidentally breathing in some of the ashes.

"I... Think I'm going to forget this happened. I cannot be wrong. I have never been wrong. It'll stay that way for as long as I live, even if it is not technically true. It's true in my eyes." K stood up, adjusting her glasses.

Dee Dee sighed. "I'd rather forget it too..."

"I mean, whatever you guys wanna say I guess. We could just pretend it didn't happen. One problem though; we need somewhere to stay now." Sunset raised an eyebrow.

"Mayhaps we can go check on your superdome and hope the New Borns have left?" K tilted her head.

"I mean... I guess, yeah. Let's go then." Sunset began walking in the direction of their superdome, the others following.

Once they got there, they were faced with... A horrible sight. The New Borns were gone, yes, but the superdome was in ruins; bits and pieces of it scattered across the grass. The thing had completely collapsed. The group just stared at it for a moment, wide-eyed.

"I... Don't believe it. Are those things really that strong??" Sunset spoke with a tone of shock and slight concern.

"Evidently." K replied, flatly. "I suppose your superdome is out of the question, then."

Dee Dee frowned. "B-But... Where are we going to go then?"

After a while of walking, the four of them reach a tall building. Multiple things were odd about it right away; the metal walls coated in white paint, the lack of windows, and the door that was equipped with a massive padlock. K walked over to the door, unlocking it and walking inside. The others followed shortly after, glancing around. The place was full of shelves and counters, all of them with beakers full of strange fluids on top of them. K led them into a separate room, which had a large table and a few chairs. They all sat down after a moment.

"I didn't know you had a base." Sunset tilted her head.

K glanced off into the distance. "There are a lot of things you don't know about me. But that's beside the point. Green fellow, did you manage to save any of your weapons?"

"Just my Supernova 4." Kevy pulled out the small red laser gun. "I've always got it on me in case of emergencies!"

"I... Suppose it's better than nothing. Lemon, you have your wrench?" K turned to Sunset.

Sunset pulled out her wrench, putting it on the table in front of her. "Yep."

"Good." K cleared her throat. "Then we will follow through with our plan with the little defense we have."

"The plan? You mean the one that Noo Noo is now fully aware of?" Sunset raised an eyebrow. "You still wanna go with that one?"

"We have no other choice. It's our best bet. We will stay inside for the remainder of the night, head out to recruit more survivors first thing in the morning, and head out to the custard facility the next day." K replied.
