Against All Odds

Chapter One

It was settled, Ethan and Jack were currently fitting into their jumpsuits all the while disbanding their clothes. Ethan felt very awkward in his new uniform as I was mainly just a tank top and shorts they were making them wear. Jack didn't seem to mind as he slipped into his rather fittingly.

The guards waited by the door, watching them. Ethan began to get a bit irritated as one of the guards was staring him down, but he didn't say anything. Once they were finished dressing the guards handed them sandals and a water bottle.Jack took it and pulls the sandals on give Ethan his sandals.

Ethan frowns a bit as he did as well before taking the water bottle from him. He held on to jack hand and interwined their fingers together. He smiles sweetly as jack smiles back. "This will be your new home!" The officer shouted as he paced the floor in front of them.

"You will be known at Prisoner 190, and Prisoner 365! Your rooms will be on the 3rd floor!" The officer kept getting louder and louder as he looked the males up and down. The other officers stood as still as possible, never looking at the boys. Ethan froze at the next line of words coming for the cop's mouth.

"Your rooms are 10 and 15! If you have any complaints then TOO DAMN BAD!" The officer screamed in Jack's face. Jack stayed calm as he took in a breath to reassure himself."b-but we can't be separated" Ethan says as he held on to jack hand tightly as tears form in his eyes as he looks at jack.Jack squeezed Ethan's hand for reassurance as he looked the guard directly in the eye. Staying calm and quiet Jack followed the other guards to their rooms. Both males looked at each other and Jack smiled sadly.

"It'll be okay Eth, just stay calm," Jack whispered.Ethan nods as he took in a shaky breath "I love you."

"I love you to" jack says before they both was put in their room and cell doors was locked.Jack squeezed Ethan's hand for reassurance as he looked the guard directly in the eye. Staying calm and quiet Jack followed the other guards to their rooms. Both males looked at each other and Jack smiled sadly.

"It'll be okay Eth, just stay calm," Jack whispered.Ethan nods as he took in a shaky breath "I love you."

"I love you to" jack says before they both was put in their room and cell doors was locked.Ethan began to cry, he looked over his room before sitting on his stone-like bed. The mattress was hard and sticky. He noticed that there was a tiny cradle in the corner of the room by his bed. Ethan paused. Did they expect them to give birth here?

"j-jack can you here?" He called as he held his stomach.

"Yeah I can. What's wrong baby?" Jack asked as he gripped on to the bar and and try to look at Ethan

"D-do you think." Ethan took a deep breath "t-they want us to give birth here?"Jack looked through the bars to try and get a glimpse at Ethan, but he could barely see through them.

"I don't know baby doll, just try and get some rest okay?" Jack fretted as he looked at his own bed. He worried what the day had for them. "o-okay" he says as he lays down "i-i miss them" he whimpers

"I know you do. I do to. " Jack saysAfter Jack could hear Ethan light snores he stepped away from the bars. He stepped closer to the window and looked up into the night sky. And for the first time in his life Jack prayed.

"Please, Mark, Tyler, find your way back to us," Jack begged as he fell to his knees.The next morning Ethan woke up early and threw up in a corner having morning sickness as jack was soon after him as well.

They finished after a while jack went to the bed and a sat down as Ethan sat on the floor. A few hours went by, and the only noise you could hear in the ticking of a clock on the opposite wall. It was around noon when they even brought food, however, it didn't look apolizing."I miss Mark's cooking," Ethan whined.

"I miss Tyler whining about how mark was burning everything" jack whined to as he sighs.

Ethan suddenly lets out a groan "b-beast is near" jack stood up and went to the cell door. "What do you mean?" Jack asked before feeling pressure on his back  traveling around his neck "d-demon" he groans.

They looked from side to side but they couldn't see them. Jack looked down at his stomach and placed his hand on the rim of his belly button.

"Baby," Jack whispered, and another shiver ran down his spine. The man was confused, what was going on?"they going to get us soon." Ethan says as he took a deep breath "I believe it" he says as he rubbed his stomach.

Several day seem to past and nothing seem to change much.Jack was still able to feel the presence of Demon but no one was there. It was after a week that Jack looked through the bars and asked Ethan about it.

"Do you think maybe it's the child?" Jack ashed out of nowhere.Ethan shook his head. "No. I don't know why but when ever I think of the baby I feel a pressure on the bottom of my stomach know that he or she is there. But when ever I think or wish for beast or demon to come and rescue us I feel the pressure of the hands. Of where they touch us. And every day it seem to be getting stronger. As if they are here right now."Jack nodded.

"Yeah, I understand... Do you think they do it because we miss them so much? That they just want to make us happy?" Jack asked as he rubbed circles over his tummy. Slowly as the weeks went by Jack notices how large his tummy had gotten. Ethen too was growing, however, it could easily be hidden by a shirt."I think that's part of it. Maybe they just coming because we sort of like their pill. Like a live pill!" Ethan giggles as he try to lighten the mood. Jack giggles back. "I guess we all need eachother. Just enough to keep our sanity together."

Suddenly a loud alarm went off in the entire building as the intercom says, "CODE BLUE! I REPEAT!! CODE BLUE!!'
