Against All Odds

Chapter Three

Beast and Demon both positioned themselves as the front door. Using the guard's badges they were able to enter. Finding a working computer seemed to be a challenge in itself however they were able to find one at a desk in the back.

"Okay," Beast breathed before using the code on his badge to get access to records.Demon kept a look out as beast worked his magic. He growls a bit "they want our kitten to give birth and test them." He says upset. Demon snarled harshly as he grabbed Beast hand and dragged him over to the elevator.

"The file said they're on the third floor!""let's get our fucking kitten back." Beast says as he held demon hand tight.

Demon nods as he looks at him before looking forward.The boys proceeded into the elevator and waited until they were up on the third floor. When the doors opened Mark and Tyler were greeted with plenty of guards, enough to overwhelm the two men.

"Play along," Beast sad slightly as he let go of Demon's hand and walked forward confidently. The guards looked at him strangely but didn't say anything as Demon followed closely.Demon glanced at one of the guards seeing his badge. "Sean the segerant wants you to bring everyone for meeting." Demon says as he look at him.

Sean nods quickly. He was clearly the new guy of the team and didn't know demon it beast quite yet. "O-of course sir. Come on you guys! The segerant just called for an meeting!" Sean says grabbing everyone attention.Beast looked at Demon with a slight fear but Demon just smiled reassuringly. They followed the rest of the troop to a side room on the side of the cells. Demon whispered into Beasts ear lowly.

"Go get the boys, I'll stall for time," Demon said as he kissed the side of Beast temple.Beast nods before sneaking around the corner and dashed down the long wide empty Halls of the corridor looking for their kittens.Demon let out a huff of breath as he prayed that his boys would get out safely. The officers all piled into a small crowded room as the Sargent stepped in as well. He stepped into the front and looked around the room."why the hell y'all doing crowding around here for!!" The sergeant yelled.

"The newbie says you wanted to have a meeting sir!' one of the officer says

"Rookie! My office! Now!" The Segerant says as he walks off to his office with Sean close behind him. Demon held his breath as his ear started to drum, Beast would never make it out with the boys if they didn't have said meeting. Tyler looked at the gun on his side before taking a big breath."he did said he want explosives" he thought before grabbing his gun and walked out of the room and went to the main control systems. "Hey! What you do-" before the officer could finish demon knocked them out and shot at the machines causing the wires to spark and catch in fire. Suddenly alarms started to go off. Large sparks of flames traveled closely the to door and Demon was staring at the man he knocked out. He sighed as he grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt and dragged him out of the room so he didn't get killed. Officers started to panic as they surrounded the fire, yelling for people to get water.The intercom came on as one of the officer yelled "COLD BLUE! COLD BLUE!!"

Demon manged to sneak away from the officer and dashed off looking for Beast and kittens. Pushing threw scared guards he was able to run down the next hall where he heard Beast calling out.

"Demon!" he could hear the faint echo and his heart dropped. Beast was scared. Demon started to sprint down hallways and threw doors but couldn't find them.Ethan was in his trembling as he try to take deep breaths but couldn't as he panicked of the loud alarm.

Jack try to talk to him but the alarm was to loud. He couldn't see him because the cell door.Smoke started to fill the hallways, something very toxic. Jack tried to scream out to Ethan but he could hear anything so he started to call for help. His terror could be heard in his voice but he kept trying as he held a towel over his face to block the smoke.As the two boys thought it was the end of the two the a figure came out of the black shadows of death. "B-beast!" Jack cried out as he try to open the door. The figure jerked toward him, coughing and wheezing as he pulled on the bars harshly. His eyes were wide with horror as he pulled harder.

"Kitten!" Beast yelled as he coughed a bit more. He turned on his heels and looked into Ethan's cells. He screamed as he noticed his body lying limply on the ground. So he did the only thing he could do.

"Demon! Demon please! Baby!""Beast where are you!" Demon yelled as he cover his mouth and nose running off "beast!"

Beast put his arms in the bars trying to reach Ethan but nothing was working. He kept screaming and kicking at the door until the smoke finally began to fill his lungs.

"De-emon," Beast stuttered as his body began to shut down.Demon ran through the fog and found beast. He rushed over and sits him up and held him "hey! Hey! You have to stay with me!" Demon says before seeing Ethan on ground and jack struggling to stay awake.Demon quickly dropped Beast to the ground as he fiddled with the keys. He quickly opened both cells and pulled his three boys together.

"Stay with me," Demon murmured.Jack grips on to demon and weakly points to an emergency exit door.

Demon looks over and barely see it before picking up Ethan on his back and picks up the other to in his arm and jogged to the door and opens the door and gets out
