"We're glad to have you here dear. I hope Jimin's not giving you a hard time." I heard mom say to Mina, who's now comfortable around the house.
"He's a really kind sunbae to me."
The two then continued to chat.
"Yah hyung!" my brother called out to me.
"What?" I asked him with an annoyed voice, because I know for sure he'll just annoy me, like he always does.
"What did you give Mina-noona to come here with you? You poisoned her, didn't you?!" he said while peaking at the living room where Mina is.
I smacked his head even before he speak more nonsense. "I didn't poison her, you dummy. Why would I even do that~"
"Then how did you bring her here? Good thing you haven't been caught by your fans and hers too."
Fortunately, really, we were lucky enough not to get caught. I just really wanna be with her right now that's why I went to her and kinda kidnapped her.
I haven't really thought of the odds of being caught.
Maybe next time I should be more careful. Because eyes are everywhere. I didn't want a scandal to blow that will make her distance herself from me.
I wouldn't risk that. She's too precious to me. I can't let her go.
She's right. I need to be extra careful. We're idols.
"Are you two together? Like you know... Together, together?" my brother asked, cutting me from my thoughts, while sticking his left and right index fingers together.
Getting what he's trying to say, I answered, "Soon." then looked at him straight in the eyes, "So hands off, kid."
Jihyun suddenly beamed and went to mom and Mina, leaving me in the kitchen.
"Omma! Hyung said that Mina-noona is my sister-in-law! They'll get married!" I heard my brother said.
What the?!
Did he just say that?
And why is he hugging Mina?!
It's not like I don't wanna marry Mina. I really like her, I really do. But I haven't even confessed to her yet!
I looked at them, wide eyes, from the kitchen. I can feel my face burning.
I looked at Mina and saw a shocked face. She just raised her brows while looking at me and crossed her arms.
Mom also looked at me, bewildered.
"Is it true, Jiminie?"
"Mom, don't tell me you believed him?"
Mom walked to me with a serious face. Once she's in front of me, she pulled me in for a big hug and said, "Omo, my baby is not baby anymore! Take care of Mina, okay? She's a keeper."
"Who's not a baby anymore?"
