I was out in the forest training with my katana, and suddenly, i heard a large snap behind me. Then a thud.. Then a moan... 'Sigh'
"Mai, are you trying to sneak up on me again?" I say, carefully sliding my katana back into it's sheath, and spinning on my heel.
When I moved to this neighbourhood, not many people were interested in me, and I was ignored most of the time. Unless I did something embarrassing.. Mai was the first person to notice I was even there, and now she is like a new sister to me. She likes to watch me train, and sometimes I try and teach her taijutsu, but she always trys to make me jump by sneaking up on me. It never works though.
As I turn around, I see a small ball of green hair, a tank top, netting and bandages. She groans again, so I walk over and kneel by her stroking her back.
"Are you okay Mai?" I say softly.
"Uh-huh.." She grunts back, her voice muffled by the snow she landed in. Wait.. Snow?!?

A/N
Okay, so I know Christmas is over, but I'm gonna keep the snow. Kay? I like the snow. XD and I kinda forgot where I was going with this story, so I'm just wingin' it!

Since when does it snow in Konoha?! I stared at the snow for a while, and then remembered that Mai was still waist deep in it! I quickly hoisted her out, and sat her up against a tree.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Y-Yeah. She said, shivering.
"Come on, let's go get some ramen to warm you up!"
"Okay!" She jumped up and started bouncing up and down!
"Only if you stop acting like a five year old." She stopped bouncing, but was still shivering really fast.
"Come on." I walked with her to when we were about 6 feet away from the ramen stand and then I looked up.
"Uh, can we not just come back another time? We can go train if you want!"
"No! Come on, I really want ramen!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the stand.. Where a certain knucklehead ninja was sitting.
