The Truth Comes To Light

Chapter 21

Harry awoke next to Charlie and blushed a bit before he smiled. He snuggled in close to the dragon tamer's chest and inhaled his scent. Charlie cracked open an eye and smiled warmly at his raven's antics. He had actually woken up a bit earlier than Harry and faked sleep to see just what his little love would do. He wasn't disappointed.

Charlie let loose a chuckle, which startled Harry into jerking his head up quickly and smacked his head into Charlie's chin. They both groaned in pain, the moment ruined. They sat up, Harry rubbing his head and Charlie rubbing his chin. They looked at each other and started laughing.

A few seconds after their laughing fit, Charlie cast Tempus to see what the time was. He sighed when it read out 7:15am and looked at Harry, "Well, want to go downstairs and see what mum made for breakfast?" The younger nodded, "Sure!" They both got out of bed and headed downstairs.

Molly had only been awake for a half an hour before she heard footsteps coming downstairs and into the kitchen. She turned around and smiled at the sight of Harry and Charlie, "Good morning boys! I made some sausage, eggs with cheese, bacon, french toast and biscuits. Help yourselves!" Harry grinned at the food before scooping up some sausage, cheesey eggs, bacon and biscuits. Charlie did the same but got french toast instead of biscuits. They both sat down at the table and dug in.

Once they finished, they handed their plates over to Molly and thanked her for the food before heading upstairs to take separate showers and get changed. It was an hour after they had woken up that everyone else had begun to wake up themselves and headed downstairs.

Harry and Charlie, who had finished showering and changed into day clothes, were sitting on the loveseat just talking to each other. Ginny, who was still upset that Harry wasn't into her like she wanted, was about to start up trouble when Bill covered her mouth with his hand. He glared down at her, "Leave him alone. Everyone can see that he's happy with Charlie, even Percy. You, Hermoine and Ron are making fools out of yourselves trying to change him. Let. Him. Go."

As soon as he removed his hand, Ginny screeched and ran upstairs to cry with Hermione following behind her. Ron glared hotly at Bill and was about to say something he'd probably regret later when he was hit with a silencing spell by Fred. George cackled and smirked at his twin, "Good one Fred! Now, if only it was permanent..." Ron glared at the twins and stomped back upstairs to grumble and pout. They all shook their heads and started walking back to the kitchen.

Harry and Charlie, who were watching since Ginny's screech just grinned and started up another conversation.
