~Your POV~
You had to take a trip all over the universe, pretty much, and you were finally coming back home to Earth. You were so excited to see your parents again after so long.
Both your parents are superheroes, too, and one of them is also a Green Lantern, but for some reason didn't have to go on some round-about trip, like you did. You think you're the only Green Lantern ever told to do that, at least it seemed like it.
Something was seriously wrong though.
You could feel it.....................and you were right.
You were in a pod that was supposed to take you to Earth due to your ring being low on power and as a precaution if something were to happen to the lantern you brought along with for the long trip.
Your pod was hit by something. You didn't know what, but it sent you into a crash course down to Earth. From there, you landed in the backyard of a house in Jasper, Nevada. Far from where you intended to land and the crash had knocked you out cold.
~Jack's POV~
I heard a loud crash come from the backyard. I turned around and saw weird, green smoke. I didn't think much of it and just ran into the front door and through to the back.
The first thing I saw was a weird pod that was letting off the green smoke. I cautiously walked up to it and it suddenly opened!
When I looked inside, I saw a girl with really long, (h/c) hair. She looked hurt. I heard mom's car come up. 'Lucky, mom's here now.'
"Mom," I called, "You might wanna come back here."

~Your POV~
You woke up in a strange room, your head pounding.
Where am I, was all you could think of.
You sat up and put a hand on your head only to feel a bandage on it. You violently coughed, you needed your bandanna as your lungs needed to readjust to the atmosphere.
You forced yourself of the bed you were on and stumbled over to where your bag was. You opened it, grabbed your bandanna, and wrapped it around your head, over your mouth.
You looked at the back of your right hand and saw that your ring was gone. You started to panic and forced yourself off the ground, where your fell to your knees, and stubbled out of the room.
You were quickly met with a flight of stairs. You tried to go down quickly and carefully, but your injuries thought otherwise as you went tumbling down the rest of the stairs.
You groaned as you tried to stand up, your injuries only felt worse. Not only did you get new injuries from the crash, but you felt older injuries, ones you had gotten while on your round-about flight.
You collapsed and heard footsteps quickly coming towards you. You laid on your stomach and tried again to force yourself onto your feet.
The footsteps suddenly stopped, and a pair of hands grabbed your arm, pulling you up. Your arm was slung over the shoulder of a strange woman. You didn't know who she was, but you, somehow, knew she wasn't who, or what, she appeared to be.
"Are you okay," the woman asked, voice filled to the brim with worry, "You shouldn't be walking, you're still hurt. You need to rest."
"My ring," you weakly whispered, but she heard you.
"Ring," she sounded, confused.
"I need my ring," you weakly whispered.
"What does it look like," she asked, still sounding confused and worried.
