Chapter 30: Game On
(JAYS POV)
"Cuz you got me, flying, with ur love..." I sang softly along to my iPod as I stared blankly at the piece of paper in my hand. It had been two years since the breakup with Harry, and I'm now a fashion designer.
Sketching a new design was always fun, but today was different. This was the design I had to sketch for my application...the application to my new job. This job was to take place in London...where Harry lived.
Actually, where Harry, Louis, Zayn, Liam and Niall lived. I remember that crazy day, when I went on YouTube and found the world blowing up about One Direction, this new boyBand. I listened to a song of theirs, and actually kind of liked it. You can't imagine how shocked I was to see my 5 best guy friend's faces on the cover of the song album. Investigating more, I discovered that all the lads had been in the uk at the same time, although different parts.
Niall had gone back because his stay here in Texas was temporary-turns out he was only an exchange student.
Zayn had gone back because he was homesick.
Louis because his mother had been diagnosed with cancer (A/N: NOT REALLY), and I remember the various phone calls I sent him about to stay strong.
Liam had to move back because he was left basically friendless at school and his father had a new job. Funny, init?
Turns out they ALL could sing. So they were put into a group on the Xfactor. I watched their auditions, smiling at their talent.
Who knew? But when it came to Harry, I nearly broke down in tears. He looked so innocent, nervous.
When he started singing though, my heart melted.
