(JAYS POV)
"Ah, Rosalie! Welcome welcome!" An overly cheerful voice cooed as soon as I walked into the room.
"Welcome to your first official office party to kick off the new year Of fashion design!" She chirped excitedly. I nodded, thanking her with a fake smile plastered on my face. I was genuinely so jet-lagged, I just wanted to go to my new home and sleep.
I milled around the room aimlessly for a while, introducing myself to random groups of my new co-workers.
"Everyone? Attention please!" The over enthusiastic young woman who had welcomed me earlier chirped.
"I'm Rebecca, head of fashion design here at Venture Designs Inc. I'd personally like to welcome you to our 14th annual office party. Especially the newcomers, Natalie, Sujin, Marco and Rosalie!" I winced at her use of my full name...instantly regretting putting it on my application form.
"Now, for tonight's musical entertainment, a special surprise! Give a warm Welcome to the 3rd placers in Xfactor 2010, chart topping boyBand One Direction!" Rebecca cheered excitedly. My eyes widening in shock, as 5 very familiar boys filed onto the tiny raised platform in the front of the room.
One curly haired boy in particular drew my attention instantly-he was scanning the room quickly. He had obviously noticed my name when Rebecca had called it. I froze-petrified as I watched them continue to walk onstage. Don't look at me, don't look at me, don't look at me...
