Chapter 5: Carnival?

Chara pov

I was sleeping peacefully until I heard a knock on my door.

"Yes . . . " I groaned. Everyone here knows that I do not like being woken up unless its an emergency. 

" Wake up cherry eyes." Star said. Wait .  .  . ! Cherry? Did she just give me a nick name. " Gat up cause were going to the carnival today." She finished. I stared at her for a moment. She interrupted my sleep for this?

" Carnival?" I questioned her. She nodded. "Were going to the carnival today." She reassured me. 

"Why though?" I wined pulling the sheet over my head.  Until I felt it being snatched off me. 

"Because we need some team bonding time and the only way we can achieve becoming more familiar with each other is by getting to know each other better. With a fun activity like this." She quoted."

"Couldn't we just do a game night and pizza!" I got annoyed. 

" My word is final!" She marched out my room with her eyes closed while I mentally cried inside! I slumped back down on my bed. 

'AAAH' I heard a girl-scream right down the hall! So much for trying to go back to sleep. After hearing that scream my mind completely went to gars.

We were in starfires tiny car. Raven had already dibsed the front seat. Damina was beside me, while gar was on the other side of me crammed by the window and us! 

To make things worse, Ninja boy over here brought his bigass sword! What a pain.

The car was so crammed. I was pushed onto damians lap. I semi-growled at gar and jaime! Gar only smirked and snickered. Damian's face was flushed a tinted pink while I was ready to make us pull over! And settle this outside!

(Two painful squished minutes later)

We had finally arrived at the carnival. I turned my head to see Jaime and Damian fighting cuz damians sword hit jaime's knee in the car.  I sighed!

"Dude, did you have to bring the sword along!" I heard Jaime complain.

"Preparedness is a prerequisite for everything." Damian quotted. Raven and starfire looked at him. 

" The gear stays in the car, damian. Tonight were going to have some mandatory fun!" Starfire  cheerfully demanded.

 Damian went to put his sword back in the car. Less problems for me! Damian wasn't smiling at. ALL. 

Mood much.

We paid for our tickets and went inside! 

"This is an opportunity to become more familiar with each other." She said as she walked off. We followed.

" How much more familiar can we get? I mean-! We've already seen beast boy lick himself." 

Everyone pulled out a disgusted face. "As a dog?!" Damian asked. "I wish." I said trying to forget the horrifying memory. We all decided to go on the ferris wheel for our first ride. 

Jaime with Gar.

And Raven with Starfire.

I know this is absurd but I had a tiny, TINY fear of heights. I closed my eyes. And Damian must've noticed because he put his left hand on my shoulder. I felt embarrassed. This guy doesn't listen so there's no point in trying. I was hanging out with damian for a while until i noticed his mirror view behind him. 

I tried hold my laugh back but a little bit escaped from my mouth. I covered it. He looked around back and saw funny mirror that made his but look huge. 

I let my laugh out. He then pointed out the mirror behind me that made my head look big. All of that laughter quickly went away! 

We played a few games with the others.

Damian had won a blue light up sword. I thought it was tacky so i just stared at it. He then noticed how the little blond girl who looked about 8 years old stare at it in awe. He handed it to her. 

"I didn't know you were nice!" I sarcastically mocked. "Whatever!" He looked away. 

(Another time skip. My hands hurt so bad.)

I then noticed raven shuffling through the crowds and up a hill. 

"I'm gonna go use the bathroom." I left up the hill making sure they wouldn't see me. 

"Another girl? Much more fun, and she has powers as well as a bit of chaos in that little head." I heard a distant voice say.  I saw for red eyes staring at from afar.

"Leave her out of this!"
