Unintentional Hurting *SynHD Fanfic*

Chapter 4

~Kat's View~
Once we got to my house, I immediately started to put away the groceries so that me and Tom could play Minecraft. I guess I didn't stick to the plan of getting a little bit of food because I had four bags filled up with food. I sighed and Tom noticed this. He then started to help put away the food, which I gladly appreciated. Throughout the whole process of putting away the groceries, we were both quiet until Tom asked where to put the cold, packaged fruit.

"In the freezer you silly!" I said. "Sorry,sorry. It's just that neither Tucker or I ever buy this" he said. And then there was once again silence. But it wasn't an awkward silence. It was the type of silence that you can enjoy with a person, and maybe laugh a little at nothing. And that's what happened.

A few seconds after Tom made his statement, he started to laugh at the silence? I don't know but once he started laughing, I started laughing which led to a fit a giggles. Pretty soon we were on the floor laughing our butts off. Once we stopped giggling like little school girls, Tom did something that I thought he would never do.

He kissed me on my cheek, very close to my lips and then hugged me once agin like how we hugged on the sidewalk. Of course, I started blushing like crazy because, who wouldn't? I soon hugged back and, once again, we stayed in that position for a minute or two. Those two minutes where like heaven. Not only was I hugging the man I dearly love, but he kissed me a little while ago. 'He kissed me. What does this mean? Does he like me? Or is this just a friendly gesture considering that I'm a very close friend of his...'

"Kat you zoned out again. Earth to Kat... Helloooooo?" Tom said. Geez, I really need to stop doing this. "Sorry Tom. I guess I just think to much now and days." Ya I'm right. I do think to much now and days. I think about you, Mr. Cassel, WAY to much. "Um ok then. Well since we're done laughing and putting away the groceries, can we maybe now play a few games on Mineplex?"he asked. "Of course! I'll show you where my extra computer is located at." And with that, I led him to my office where, exactly right next to me, was an extra computer gaming set. Don't ask why I have an extra just go with flow. Once I got there, a big problem hit me. I didn't have an extra chair.

~Tom's View~
Once I got to Kat's office, I recognized that there was only one chair. "Ummm Kat, if you haven't figured out by now, there's only one chair" I said. "I see that..." she said, sounding a little worried. 'Well I can always just have her sit on my lap so that we can just play on one computer. That would surely save electricity (and the electricity bill too :P)' I saw this as a great opportunity to make a 'cute' move on her since I do like her. I may actually give her hints so she gets the idea that I like her.

"Hey, uh, maybe you can sit on my lap so we would only be playing on one computer. We then can take turns on playing whatever game we are going to play." Please don't reject me. I hate getting rejected. "That actually wouldn't be a bad idea I guess." Yes! I didn't get rejected.

~Kat's View~
Tom just asked me to sit on his lap. I mean, I like him so maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing.

At first I was blushing like crazy knowing that I sitting on my crush's lap. But I wanted to know if Tom was blushing so I turned my head slightly to see that he was in the same state that I was in. Except his was a bit better then my blush. A few minutes later I totally forgot that I was sitting on Tom's lap because I was distracted by the game. A few moments after that, he laid his chin on my shoulder. We stayed in that position the whole time until we decided to end the game.

After that, we had a quick snack and went to watch a movie. Cliché you would say (didn't mean for it to rhyme though...). We finally agreed to watch World War Z because why not. A few minutes into the film, Tom sat in an awkward position to where I would have to cuddle up on his chest. At first I wasn't sure if should cuddle with him, but the way that my body was positioned was so uncomfortable. I soon gave in and cuddled up against him. I soon realized that I no longer had a cold (we all know why though ;D) and felt much better.

Right when the end credits were about to roll, I tried to get up only to have Tom pull me back down. "Well wasn't that a nice movie to re-watch?" He asked. "Ya it was a nice film..." I responded. I then looked up at Tom and he looked down at me. He then started to lean in as I too was leaning in. I closed my eyes and then BAM! He kissed me smack on the lips. We stayed like that for a couple of seconds or even possibly a minute, just appreciating the love. 'So he did love me?'

I was losing air so I pulled back and so did he. The worst possible thing happened. "I'm so sorry Kat.. I... I didn't mean to do that." And with that he left me devastated, also very confuzzled. Did he like me?

A/n: Another 2 in one update day! Whoooo! (Even though it only my friend reading it :(. Anyways, why did Tom-ahem- the author do that?! Hehehe I don't know why I did. But maybe you'll find out soon. Anyways, I'll see ya'll soon! PEACE!
