Tony tried to call Effy again. As expected, he got no answer. Her phone must be switched off, he thought.

"Fuck."

Anthea told him that Effy had one of her scheduled walks after her appointment with Dr Foster. But that was hours ago: it was now 9pm and he could find no sign of her anywhere. She can't have returned home either: Anthea would have called him immediately to let him know.

The police had been called shortly after Tony arrived, and they promised to do all the could to search for her. But for Tony that wasn't enough. He insisted that he go out and look for her, with Anthea remaining home in case she returned whilst he was out.

He turned a street corner and froze. In his panic to find Effy he had completely forgotten.

Directly opposite him, across the street, was the spot where he got hit by the bus.

"Deja vu," he muttered, before starting towards it.It was like it happened yesterday: he could see it now. Sid and the others were all inside the club for Anwar's 17th birthday Party whilst he was on the phone to Michelle, telling her he loved her before turning around and...

Tony temporarily forgot all about Effy as he walked over to the spot he stood on that night. Revisiting this place again after so long made him feel very uneasy and depressed. His head snapped around at the sound of an engine and he very nearly screamed.

False alarm, it was just a car. No buses were in sight. But that didn't matter. As if in a trance, Tony walked off around the corner and went down another street. Then he froze in place and blacked out. For how long, he didn't know. It wasn't until he heard the scream that he came back to reality.

"TONY!"

Tony started breathing fast. He knew that voice and he knew it only too well. But that wasn't his concern. His concern was that he heard it from back around the corner, meaning it came from the spot where he got hit.

With nothing but Effy on his mind, he charged back around the corner. Way at the other end of the street, he saw two figures running, one of which was female. Already gasping for air, Tony ran after them, faster than he ever had ever run in his life.

About ten minutes before this, Effy and Cook arrived at that same area. Cook was more afraid than ever for Effy. He wasn't sure how he should have envisaged "something bad," at least with this Effy. But it certainly wasn't walking around for a full hour.

Effy, on the other hand, did begin to get bad vibes. A bad feeling, somehow created because of this spot...

"Oh, Deja Vu."

"Yeah, ain't that the French for "what the fuck is going on?" Cook was tired and couldn't grasp what was bothering her.

"No," Said Effy, her eyes now locked onto a particular spot on the road. "I've been here before. Something bad happened here."

"What?" Cook sounded disinterested but right now she held his full attention. He had been trying to understand her weird behaviour all day, but now, he finally guessed that he was going to get some answers.

"I was screaming," she replied. "Someone got hurt." Her heart rate was rising as a familiar image began to form inside her head.

Cook was near breaking point. "Ok, this is getting way too much Stephen king for me. You win, all right? I call chicken."

"Someone got hurt." She said with a raised voice. The image was becoming clearer. She on that very road, cradling someone. But not just someone, someone... Close.

Cook finally lost patience. "What are you talking about?"

"What am I talking about?" She replied, turning round to face him.
