I woke up at 4 am. Again. My nightmares were getting worse. Premonition or not, the future wasn't looking so bright for me. I trudged over to the freezer room. Yes, the Zane estate had a freezer room. A whole freezer room for frosted food and ice-cream. Buckets of ice cream. I grabbed a tub and a spoon and trudged back to my room.

I started reading a new book posted by my favorite author DarkKnight. People assume that he's in the rebellion because most of his books were about tyrannies in despotic worlds taken over by a group of idealists who change the world. Even though most of his story plots, characters, love interests of the mc's and even his name are clichéd, there is something about the way he weaves the words together that just draws you in. I'm most definitely one of the very few people who critique him but secretly I love his writing. I sent him a lot of emails under the name ErzaScarlet cause why not name myself after an anime character. I critique him, praise him and fan girl over his characters. At first, I was so sure he wouldn't look at my messages cause he most definitely had gazillions of fans but I was surprised when he personally replied to my emails. We opened up a chatting link and I'm one of the first people he tells about his upcoming books. And I'm definitely the first who reads it and sends him feedback.

By 6 am I was done with my tub and the story and I sent him feedback as well.

ErzaScarlet: Clichéd love story again bud.

I didn't have to wait long for a reply.

DarkKnight: What can I say, I'm a terrible romantic.

I snorted.

DarkKnight: What about the rest? The storyline and all.

ErzaScarlet: I love the background of the MC Isabella. You built up the emotion and everything at the perfect pace. The fact that she becomes an assassin to avenge the death of her family and realizes halfway through that the people she was working for were the only that killed them. Awesome. And the cliffhanger at the end though when she realized that her brother was alive and working for the ones who their parents worked for (internal fan girl screaming).

DarkKnight: Glad that you enjoyed it ;)

ErzaScarlet: Next book?

DarkKnight: Soon. Got a lot going on right now. Sorry...

ErzaScarlet: Chill it's ok. I can relate. Looking forward to it.

ErzaScarlet: TTYL. I'm starving.

DarkKnight: You remind me of someone I know. She's a complete and total glutton.

ErzaScarlet: I would honestly love to meet her. We'd raid the kitchen every day.

DarkKnight: I dread that tbh. You go on and eat then.

ErzaScarlet: You are definitely my favorite person in this world right now. Bbye.

DarkKnight: Bye.

I stretched and skipped out of the room all happy. I bumped into Keir who had this huge goofy grin plastered all over his face.

"Someone looks happy today." He said.

"I could say the same about you. What's with the goofy grin?"

"My grin's goofy? You should see yours."

I looked at the dark screen of my phone. Gods. I looked like a kid who got a lifelong supply of chocolates and ice-cream.

"I just had a chat with this amazing person." Keir said.

"That's funny. I was chatting too." I said. I looked at him closely. Nope. There's no way he's DarkKnight.

Both of us walked to the dining room with a spring in our steps. We probably looked like little kids on a field trip. I peered into the room and was elated when there was no Max Zane. As soon as the toast came, I stuffed myself. I thanked every person who served us by name. I knew each of the chefs personally and I had notified them ahead of time that I was cooking in the afternoon.
