32) Christmas

The doors of Gryffindors dormitory flung open, revealing the Weasley twins, both wearing Weasley sweaters. They were blue, with a yellow F and G respectively.

Harry quickly shoved the cloak away, before they could see it.

"Merry Christmas!" The boys shouted. "Hey, look! Harry and Percy got some Weasley sweaters, too!"

"Harry's is better than ours, though," Fred said, holding up Harry's sweater. "She obviously makes more of an effort if you're not family."

"Why aren't you wearing yours, Ron?" George questioned. "Come on, get it on, they're lovely and warm."

"I hate maroon," Ron groaned as he pulled the sweater over his head.

"You haven't got a letter on yours," George looked at Ron's sweater. "I suppose she thinks you don't forget your name. But we're not stupid — we know we're called Gred and Forge."

"What's all this noise?"

Perry Weasley peaked his head through the door, looking annoyed and disapproving. Like a disappointed mother that was kinda angry too. He had a sweater slung over his shoulder.

"P for prefect! Get it on, Perry, we're all wearing ours, even Harry and Percy got one."

"I — don't — want —" Perry said, struggling with his brothers who were forcing the sweater over his head and knocking his glasses away.

"And you're not sitting with the prefects today, either," George said. "Christmas is a time for family."

They marched Perry out of the room.

This was the beast feast I've ever had. So much food, and for some amazing reason, all of the stuff that got placed on my plate turned blue. Everyone else was confused, but it made me happier than just about anything.

My mom and Gabe had gotten into an argument once. Gabe had said that blue food wasn't real. My mom had argued with him about that. Next day, she made blue pancakes. She made everything she could make blue be blue from then on.

There were also wizard crackers. Muggle party favors weren't near as amazing as these

George helped me pull one, and it went off with a loud bang like a canon, reminding me of that one time I blew up my school's bus on a field trip.

After the food came desert. Perry almost broke his tooth on a sickle that was in his pudding.

Most of the food held money. Every once in awhile, someone would laugh because a nasty Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean would fall out.

Hagrid continued to get more red in the face as he drank more and more wine, eventually leaning over and kissing McGonagall on the cheek. We all smirked when she blushed.

We eventually left the table and went outside, having a snowball fight. Fred and George had teamed up, along with Harry and Ron. I was alone.

I was aiming for Harry when an extremely hard snowball slammed into my face. I stumbled and fell, the Weasley's laughter filling the air.

I couldn't see the twins anywhere. I was looking away and I turned very suddenly, only to catch one of the snowballs the twins threw. I knew which direction it was coming from, looking that way.

I grabbed a few snowballs and ran off to go and hit them in the face. It was a pretty awesome snowball fight.

We went back into the castle cold, sweaty, and out of breath. Harry used the chess set he got with Ron, and lost spectacularly.

Dinner was fun too. We talked and ate, laughing the entire time.

I walked back to Hufflepuff's common room with Katie, who explained that most demigods chose to spend their Christmas at Hogwarts. Draco was one of the very few who didn't.

I walked into my room and started drawing, not feeling very tired.

I caught the Weasley's throwing their snowball's with smiled on their faces. Fred had a little bit of snow on his face, and George was tossing a snowball.

I also got Ron holding up one of his presents. He was smiling at whatever was inside, probably food.

I got Harry's amazed face as he saw his own floating head in the mirror. It was a great picture.

When I started to feel tired, I laid down on my bed, but realized I had been sitting on something.

I quickly sat up and saw a small blue box with fish prints on it. A present.

I quickly tore it open and saw a phial inside of it, and a note. I grabbed the note and saw it was in Greek:

Dear Perseus,

I believe you'll be needing this. It'll help you get to the other side.

Merry Christmas, Perseus, and a happy new year.

Poseidon

My eyes widened as I realized that my father had just given me a gift.

I looked at the phial, having no clue what it was. But if a god had said I'd be needing it, I'd probably be needing it. I quickly put a safety charm on the phial and placed it in the opposite pocket as my pen.

I dreamt happy dreams that night.

It's 4:20 AM, and there isn't a better time to write this than now. I need to start adding more characters in the third book, especially considering Percy's got new classes and I'm not so panicked over the concept. If you want to be in the story, comment things from the list. Note, they don't have to be true to you in real life. I do not expect you to tell me your name. I personally never put my last name online. My first name is Caroline.

Note: I am no longer doing this. Sorry.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The last note I put has been missed consistently over the several years since I have stopped putting in more characters. I am not adding in characters created by commenters anymore. You don't need to fill the form out. If you still want to for fun, go for it, but don't expect anything to come of it.

1. Name
2. Age
3. Gender (anything goes)
4. Hair color
5. Eye color
6. Skin color
7. Y/N demigod (godly parent)
8. Y/N witch/wizard (Hogwarts house, or, if from another school, name the school and your house from there)
9. Sexuality (only if you want to, if you don't list anything, you will remain single)
10. Personality
11. Hobbies
12. A bit of a backstory is always nice
13. Skills
14. Anything else you need to add.

I'd also like to note that if you do create a character, I may not put them in my story. If I do, I most likely will not include them in the main plot. I may not include bits from your character sheet, or I may add something (hopefully contacting you first). Thank you :)

Next chapter on Thursday.
