initially, dami is introduced as a character who appears similar to hanako: cheeky, cheerful, and full of mischievous ideas. however, contrasting aoi's politeness, dami can be quite rude to others, mostly strangers and older people. she is most commonly known for having a sweet tooth; she loves everything sweet and spent almost 1000 yen on snacks not until akane had smacked her on the head.
she is also one of the quickest-thinking out of the trio (aoi and akane) and often analyzes a situation with great ease and accuracy. in spite of her young age, her way of thinking, knowledge, and pragmatism give her the attitude of an adult. she is initially very confident about her own abilities. despite her advanced knowledge and level-headed nature, she is not very open in general and will become very embarrassed when aoi or akane openly calls her their best friend or compliments her about her talents or their bond.
a stark contrast to her best friends aoi and akane, dami is highly mature in both thinking and emotion in which she can keep her anger in check (depends) and maintain rationality better than the both of them.
