Suho from EXO and Irene from Red Velvet are under the same label, SM Entertainment. Suho was born with the real name Kim Jun-myeon, and Irene was born as Bae Joo-hyun. Irene became a trainee in SM Entertainment in 2009 and debuted as a Red Velvet member in 2014. Meanwhile, Suho was scouted by an SM Entertainment Manager who discovered him on the street and became trainee in 2006, and debuting as a member of EXO in 2012.

They have several things in common, one of them is they are the leaders of their respective groups. More than that, they were also born in the same year, 1991, have small faces and have very fair skin. They’ve been spotted together several times in public, which caused dating rumors to arise. 1. Suho helped Irene without asking during SM Town Dubai

In April, 2018, a fan account reported that Suho and Irene were seen together during the press conference for SM Town Dubai. They were interacting each other when Irene headed to her chair in the back row, Irene didn’t sit down right away because there was no cloth that Koreans often use to cover their thighs. Suho, who seated beside Irene, spontaneously called the staff to ask about the cloth.

They also had interaction during the press conference in Dubai, Irene was having a hard time pronouncing something in Arabic and suddenly looked to Suho, who helped her by
correcting the pronunciation while smiling at Irene. Some fans speculated they were comfortable with each other because they got along together since the time they were both trainees in SM Entertainment.

2. Coming together in Hawaii after SM Entertainment activity

In 2016, they were caught walking together in Hawaii after coming back from water games in the pool. In this photo they were using the same clothes and walking beside each other.

Suho and Irene weren’t the only ones in Hawaii, apparently, They went together with other SM Entertainment artists like Girls Generation, ECO, Red Velvet, etc. They arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii for a holiday and workshop with SM Entertainment. Red Velvet was preparing a comeback after that event, in South Korea.

Nevertheless, this rumor was refuted by some people on the internet since Suho and Irene were also accompanied by other staff.

Suho and Irene’s Present Relationship

Recently, on April 14, 2019, Suho and Irene were attending a sub-unit of Super Junior, Donghae and Eunhyuk’s (D&E) concert, which was held over two days (April, 13 and 14, 2019). Some other SM Entertainment artists were also going to the concert to give support, such as Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Changmin and Yuho from TVXQ. Apparently, people paid attention to Suho and Irene, who sitting beside each other in the audience.

Irene was looking beautiful in a blue blouse and black trousers. Beside her, Suho was wearing a plaid shirt and a cap on his head. Since they were going to the concert, they were asked to dance for D&E song called Can You Feel It. Suho and Irene looked shy, but they danced together behind Changmin and Yuho.

Some EXO and Red Velvet fans were excited look at their photos together. Core fans have been happily matching them. Looking at comments saying

“Suho and Irene was sitting next to each other. This must be celebrated.”

“I searched for videos and threats for TVXQ but my attention was instead directed at two people behind. They were harmonius.” said other fans.

Some fans have been saying they’re very happy to see this.

Recently, Suho was uploading this picture of him handing a trophy in his Instagram account. He was appointed Musical Ambassador in Daegu. He said it was an honor for him to be representing Daegu.

On his Instagram account @kimjuncotton, Suho also uploaded a photo together with Caleb and Gaten from Stranger Things, a popular series on Netflix. Caleb and Gaten were in Seoul, South Korea promoting Stranger Things Season 3. Suho and Kai from EXO got a chance to accompany them to visit Gyeongbokgung palace.

Meanwhile, in August, 2018, Irene was
announced as the the new exclusive model for the French outdoor brand Eider for fall/winter 2018 and spring/summer 2019.
