Unfolded

Prologue

"Somebody help us, we need a doctor right now." Came Mr. Jackson's voice rushing in with nurses pushing his ready to deliver screaming wife into the hospital. The two had been married for 6 years and still didn't have any children and when one evening after work his wife broke to him the good news of her pregnancy he was beyond himself with happiness and took her to an expensive restaurant to celebrate. Expensive,yes, you heard me right. These two were hella bank because Mr. Jackson owned his own business company while Mrs. Jackson worked in a successful law firm and get this she not only worked there but owned a good share of it since it was partnered. Those two were enjoying their morning show together when the contractions started and that's how he rushed her to the Hope hospital. Their doctor, Dr. John, came rushing out and instructed the nurses to take her to the delivery room. She was in pain and really held on tightly to her husband asking him not to leave her and all her husband could do was give her encouraging and soothing words and tell her that he loved her. Once they were at the delivery room, Mr. Jackson wasn't allowed to go in so he was left outside pacing up and down and whispering prayers for the whole process to be successful and both his wife and child to be fine. During this whole time he remembered how his wife and him planned names for the baby.
    "Honey, if it is a boy, the heir to my business, then we'll call him Jackson Junior." His wife couldn't help but laugh. "No no I disagree coz that's just cliche to call your son your name and adding Junior to it...if it's a boy let's call him Jaden."
"Agreed. And if it's a girl, let's go with Bianca."
"Mr. Jackson," the doctor interrupted his thoughts, "it has been successful and you have a beautiful lovely baby girl." He couldn't help but excitedly hug the doctor and rush in to see his wife nursing a beautiful eye shut baby who was wiggling her legs and that was an emotional sight for him. He walked over to his wife, kissed her on her forehead and told her he loved her which she told him back. He held the child in his arms as if he was holding his most valuable treasure which he promised himself she was going to be.
"Excuse me, I'm nurse Nancy and I'd like to take your baby so that I can clean her up and dress her." They both kissed the baby and gave it to the nurse. It was night time when the baby was brought back to the mother and seeing how exhausted her husband was she sent him home to freshen up and get some rest and though he protested to that, he still left. The nurse came to give her an injection, "Nurse Nancy right? What is this injection for?"
"Uuuhm...to get your strength back by tomorrow." And after the injection she fell asleep with her baby in her arms. At exactly midnight when all the patients were asleep and the hallway was dark, the door to Mrs. Johnson's room was opened and in came a black dressed masked person who took the child and left as hastily as they came in. Mrs. Jackson still in her sleep wondered why she didn't hear her baby cry at night which was odd because most of her mother friends kept telling her how babies keep crying and screaming at night and so she woke up to find that it was already morning and oh the horror in her eyes when she realized that the baby was nowhere around her. Mr. Jackson was just getting in the hospital with a banquet of flowers on one hand and a bag of shopping on the other hand when he heard the terrifying screams that came out of his wife's room. He rushed there to find the doctor calming her and security personnel in the room doing investigative stuff and he didn't have to be told to know what just happened. The CCTV was played and after a close look a familiar face was seen taking the baby
"Nurse Nancy, that is why she injected me with sleeping drugs so that I couldn't feel her steal my baby." She said in between sobs.
"It's alright deary, we will hire the best detective in town and find her and bring our daughter home." Little did they know that finding her was a task that would get harder and harder since for status the name she used at the hospital was all fake and wasn't even her real name.
