What is faith?
Faith is the ability to do something with a heart that believes that it will happen. Hebrews 11:1 says that Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If you don't understand this verse, let my dad help you.
He says, when you are sick, you hope for healing. And you don't see the healing but you claim you are healed. That is faith. BTW, this is an example of faith working. Another is when you believe in his word and you claim it that God had said so in his word.
This has happened to a lot of women who were seeking for a child. If a woman wants a child, she would remind God that he said in his word ask and ye shall receive. And if she has a spare room, she would remind God by making the room a nursery and saying "thank you lord for my child that is on the way".
There are many types of ways of Faith. But the greatest of all is the Faith in believing in God.
