I slung the last body on the ground and stood up, wiping my hands off on the towel that was sitting by my feet.
“Anyone else wanna fight? I haven’t even broke a sweat!” I yelled throughout the gym.
Everyone shook their heads ‘no’ in response.
“I think you’ve had enough for today, Ace.” Jonathan said, putting his arm around my bare waist and guiding me away.
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, yeah.” I said sarcastically, waving him off with my hand.
He laughed and leaned down, planting a small kiss on my forehead. I closed my eyes and sighed in content. “You really are amazing, Amberleigh. You know that right?” He whispered against my head.
I smiled. “Thanks.” I said, walking away to put up my supplies I used for fighting.
I dampened an old towel at the sink and walked over to the blood splatter on the ground and proceeded to start scrubbing it.
After awhile of scrubbing, I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and pull me up from the ground, pulling me into a warm embrace. I sighed and leaned back in his arms.
“You’re awfully sweet today.” I said quietly.
He made a sound of agreement in the back of his throat. “I haven’t been able to spend time with my girl lately.” He said just as quietly.
I looked down at the blood spot and noticed it had faded an immense amount.
“You wanna get out of here? I’m done for today.” He questioned, winking at me.
I smirked and turned around in his arms so that our chests were touching and looked up into his blue-green eyes.
“Not before I see you fight.” I said smiling.
He laughed and rolled his eyes. “Whatever you want, love.” He said in his British accent I love so much. He walked off to find an opponent after giving me a peck on the lips.
Jonathan is originally from Doncaster, England. His parents died when he was 15, so he moved here. With his good looks and beautiful accent, he makes girls go crazy everywhere he goes.
I walked over beside the fighting mats and watched as Jonathan walked over with Jaxon, another member of a gang called The Spit Fires. Pretty stupid name if you ask me.
Jonathan got in his sexy little position he always gets in before fighting, while Jaxon just stood there cracking his knuckles, trying to look menacing. Don’t get me wrong, Jax is one bowed up guy, but I just don’t think he’s very trained in the underground fighting, unlike Jonathan.
“Hey Ace, count down for us!” Jonathan said, remembering to say my fight name.
“Three, two, one go.” I said in a bored voice.
Jonathan chuckled a bit before lunging at Jaxon, knocking him off his feet and onto the ground. He then proceeded to punch him repeatedly in the face, breaking his nose in the process. Somehow, Jonathan managed to get caught up with punching him, which is never good, and Jaxon brought his feet up and kicked Jonathan off of him. He quickly recovered and leaned back, placing his hands above his head on the ground and picking his feet up, kicking his himself forward and into a standing position.
Jaxon’s eyes widened in fear when Jonathan dashed after him, ducking down and swiping his feet out from under him. Jaxon landed on his back with a loud thump, knocking the breath out of him momentarily.
While he had Jaxon on his back, he ran over and rolled him over and twisted his arm painfully behind his back. He shouted in pain before banging his free hand on the floor.
