A New World Deep Below

Brody's POV

"Brody!" Mom said waking me up "Brody, if you do not wake up, we will be late for school!" She said and she moved the curtains "I will wait outside for you, alright" she said walking out the room and I yawned waking up "It's lonely in this room without Azzy..." I mumbled and got up and walked out the house.

"Brody! There you are! We might still be able to make it!" Mom said as I walked over and got in the passanger's seat "Brody...it is a beautiful day today, is it not?" Mom asked "Yeah..." I mumbled "I hope it stays this way when Asriel visits mext week" Mom said "But I wonder...After the excitement of university..." she said "Will he still enjoy coming home to this little town...?" Mom asks as she drives.

Once we got to school we got out of the car and mom holds my hand taking me inside, once inside she gave me a hug and I hug back and go to my class.

"Oh....B-Brody...! We thought you weren't coming today!" Miss Alphys said as I walked in "We're doing group projects this month..." she said "Uhhh....so, Walk around and find a partner, ok?" She said and I nodded.

I walked over to MK, we always do this things together, he's my closest friend besides Asriel "Yo, Brody! You should have show up earlier! I thought you weren't coming" Monster Kid said "I ended up having to partner with Snowy, haha...sorry" he said "It's fine MK" I said with a small smile "It's still on about playing at recess and then going to my house?" He asked hopeful and I nodded, I then went to Berdly, he's so annoying "Ah, Brody. Late again I see" he said "Hmm? You need a partner? Sorry, I'm already partners with the 2nd smartest student" he said "Though...wait! Brody now that I think about it...Your unique skillset might help a lot on this assignment!" He said "Pfft, NOT! I actually want to get an 'A!' " he said and I roll my eyes.

After some more asking I went to Noelle, she's the second nicest to me in the class, first being MK. Nobody bothers me but bearly anyone talks to me, except Berdly he's just annoying to anyone. "Hey Brody! What's up? Didja lose your pencil again?" Noelle asks "Here, you want the candy-cane one or the one with lights on it?" She asks and I shake my head "No. I want to be partners for the work" I saod "Huh? You want to be partners? Umm...Sorry..Berdly already asked me..." she said "But I could asks Ms. Alphys  if we could make a group of 3!" She said "I'll ask if yiu're sure!" She said "Please" I said and she nodded smiling "Ok, I'll ask! Miss Alphys! Umm, is it ok if we have a group of 3?" Noelle asks "Hey! What? No! I do NOT approve this! ABORT!" Berdly said "What? B-but Brody doesn't have a..." Noelle said "Noelle, what were you saying?" Ms. Alphys asked "She was just saying we're FINE being alone!" Berdly said and I glared at him "a-ctually, I just wanted to know if....." Noelle whispered "Noelle, can you PLEASE SPEAK UP?" Ms. Alphys asked when the door was swinged open and entered Susie, the bully of the school ".....Am I late?" Susie asks "Ohhh, n-no! You're fine! W-we were just , uh...choosing partners for the next group project and...." Ms. Alphys said "Umm, Susie, you're with Brody!" She said 'Great....' I thought "....great" Susie said.

Ms. Alphys couldn't find chalk to give the assignement so Noelle suggested for Susie and her to go but Ms. Alphys stopped her and said me and Susie to get it, Susie walked out first and then I followed her.

When Icgot out the classroom I saw Susie eating chalk and then she saw me "......Brody" she said "....Didn't see you there" she said "....hey" she said "You didn't see anything just now, did you?" She asks "Hmm....you can't even say?" She asks "Brody...." she said walking over to me and I instinctively walked back till my back hit the lockers "Hey" she said putting her hand on my shoulder "Let me tell you a secret" she said and then lifted me by my shoulder pushing me agaimst the lockers "Quiet people piss me off" she said "You think just 'cause you don't say anything...I can't tell EXACTLY what you're thinking?" She asks " 'It's OVER! I caught Susie wating ALL the chalk!' " she said " 'This was her LAST chance! Now she'll FINALLY be expelled!' " she said and I look at her confused "Haha....come on Brody. Don't act confused. You know it's true" she said "Everyone's waiting fot it. Everyone wants it" she said, "So congrats, Brody. You got me. I'm done for" she said "...Just lemme say one little thing" she said "seems like a waste to get expelled just for having a snack" she said "So Brody if I KNOW you're gonna pull the trigger...." she said and chuckled "Why don't I just get expelled for some REAL carnage?" She asks "Brody....How do you feel...." she said ".....about losing your face?" She asked making a scary face and then drops me on the floor "Nah. Brody you've got a good mother....it'd be a shame to make her bury her child" she said "We'll go get the chalk come back to the class and then Brody. YOU'll do our project" she said "How's that sound?" She asks but before I could answer she spoke "Don't bother answering" she said "If you haven't gotten it by now.....your choices don't matter" she said "Let's go freak" she said walking off and I stood up following her.

When we arrived to the closet, with Susie teasing me on the way but when we opened the closet it looked really dark and after some uneasyness we entered but for some reason when we got inside it felt like a long corridor and when we tried to leave the door was closed and the papers we where standing on fall down and so did we as if there was no floor.

And we felled down

And down to a world down below

And I passed out.
