"I don't know why I'm doing this!"

Giovanna let out a scowl when she entered the office. My swivel chair spun around to see how red her face is.

"I don't think I can handle that guest anymore!" she sneered and sat on the couch, making loud thuds. "Listen, she was blaming our staff about the broken shower. She's so fuming mad until her son admitted that it was actually his fault! She can't even think rationally! How can she blame someone without any evidences?!"

I sighed when it doesn't feel like she'll calm down. "Talking back isn't a proper way to deal with guests."

She ignored me and leaned on the couch restlessly. I had no choice but to do the talking myself. I went out of the office to check on this woman I was just watching earlier from the CCTVs in the lobby. I noticed see her being hotheaded but it wasn't right for Giovanna to be the same either. They'll just spark and fuel the fire against each other.

After settling a talk with them, I went out of the hotel to see how the operations are doing outside. Father isn't around so I was held accountable. It's difficult without too much experience but Father trusts me.

I walked around and look over the place outside. The hotel's been gaining a lot of tourists especially that it's summer time. People are everywhere and they sometimes come out of control.

Just like this girl who was walking barefooted in the sands, clenching a surboard after her. Her face is letting out a frown and her stomping feet left the sands with visible and deep foot marks.

"Kierra, come back here!"

From far behind her, a woman around Giovanna's age shouted. She was clearly talking to the girl but she only acted like she doesn't hear her.

"Kierra," I muttered surprisingly.

I followed her from sight until she swam away and lost me. I drew near the shore where my feet almost touched the waves crashing. I looked around and checked if there are any life guards searching over. I managed to find Renzo. The woman's not the only person here that she managed to get away from my sight.

"Hey, have you seen a girl with the surfboard swimming away?"

He nodded and pointed somewhere else. "You mean that on–" I cocked my head towards where he is pointing but no one was there. "Where is she?"

It puzzled my mind when it feels like she got lost in our sight. I left Renzo and drew closer to the sea. I tried to find any signs of a woman surfing until I noticed someone catching her breath while trying to ride back at her surfboard.

"Fuck."

The waves aren't that big but for someone as skinny as her, she must have pulled away. I didn't mean to body shame. Kierra, a blockmate as far as I can remember, has a slender but nice body. Sure she's skinny but she slays her ways. She's even hot on her bikinis just earlier.

I shook my head at the weird thought.

How can I think of it in the middle of my work?

"Guild, is that the girl? She isn't with anyone, man."

I stormed towards the sea removing my shirt to avoid any hindrance. I waste no time. I swam and find her. She's trying to swim too. I'm sure it won't be much of a trouble. She wouldn't go through that if she does know how to swim. Well, that's unless she's one very troublesome woman.
