As what they say, rats come out when they are hungry, but why is Ms.Madbie's killer not even showing a hint? I'm so twisted in this case but I need to solve this cause I badly need that 3 weeks vacation.
"I guess, it's not really this easy " Donah said from behind me, while I'm having a coffee break.
So I invited them in my table and started talking.
"Ms.Madbie owns a jewelry shop and an antique shop at A street. She usually visits her shops every Mondays and Wednesdays, but it was at the last days of May when she never showed a day in the shop. Her assistant thought she went out of town, at first, but months passed when she haven't visited a day.
They called the office for help and Jomari went to find in her house a body in a state of decomposition, yes that's right, that means she has been dead for months already and nobody even noticed a thing from the neighbors or one of the family member.
Initial findings said that she was killed through suffocation. The suspect sprayed a chemical used to kill pests all over Ms.Madbie's house. She could have gotten out for help but she was locked in.
She's 24. No boyfriend. No family living with her and most likely a lonely woman who doesn't really have bunch of friends by the neighborhood. But she has her rusty treasure chest close to her body right where Jomari found her. " I told them.
"What's inside it then, the rusty treasure chest? " asked Ywa.
"Her things. Some old letters, a dirty hanky, a scarf, and a shirt with a letter H." I answered.
"How did it turn to be this hard to solve, when it seems to be just like other crimes out there." Donah curiously asked.
"It all started when.. when.. we found blood under her bed, inside her fridge, and unwiped blood on the floor." I shakingly said.
"Unwiped??" Both of them screamed.
"Woah! Well, you guise heard enough. It's time you read the PAPERS I gave you." I said as went back to my office.
I was assisting Jomari with the case he resolved. Finally he has done something for his case and he can have his own vacation now.
"I know something! " Donah screamed.
"Hey! Watch it! What do you know?" I said as I raised my brows.
"We should go back to Ms.Madbie,'s house. I think we have just what we need to solve the case." She added confidently.
"It's almost 5pm, we'll go there tomorrow. " I refused.
"But we can do it now!" She begged.
"Have some time for yourself, after 5pm is your only time. Now, you guise can ride with me." I answred.
I winked at them. Trying to direct them to follow me. We headed to where my car was parked and slowly went the other side of the road. The road that goes through Ms.Madbie's house.
"Now, I want you to have a look at the house but never remove any thing, not until tomorrow. You know the rules. Let's get a little something for dinner, first." I said.
"Thank you, Nash." They said in chorus.
We ate in the car. And had a small talk on how things have been going for this case. The two had questions and I some are left unanswered. They're really funny to be with, and how frequent they scream at things but for them it's just normal. Later do we know that we're already in front of Ms. Madbie's house.
