music, a resonant noise that caused two contradicting beings to become friends. if one were to ever meet the two separately, you would've never thought those two knew each other.

the taller of the two, hyunjin, disliked any form of interaction with others. well aware of how people saw him, the male stopping trying to befriend others who just saw him as another pretty face.

jisung had been a different story. the boys met during their younger years when both were participants in their school's talent show. he watched the smaller get up on that stage and perform better than anyone else.

never forgetting the confident, powerful look jisung gave as he entered and rapped with such ease. the taller was captivated, his way to capture the whole audience's attention so easily and having that big smirk as the words flowed and rhymed perfectly.

it was that energetic boy that gave hyunjin the confidence to perform his dance solo. his
reminiscences about the awestruck crowd when they saw him dancing to his self made cover to a got7 song.

the taller male gave it his all, making sure to hit every beat. forgetting the large audience below the stage he danced proudly on, his small winks and dark glances won the hearts of all those below.

finishing it perfectly, he let out a sigh of relief. those in front of him clapped wildly for him, putting a large smile on hyunjin's face as he jogged backstage.

the highlight of his night being the high praise of many, from those who recognized his skills. even the powerful rapper, jisung, had went up to him after he went backstage, giving a shy yet bubbly appreciation.

"you know, your dance was amazing. you're very talented, hyunjin" the smaller male told him.

hyunjin flushed a light shade of pink, not expecting the male he adored to talk him. "wow" the dancer responded softly, "your rapping was even more amazing, i mean, the way everything fits so well and is just in sync. your really amazing-"

the rapper giggled at the other's rambling, "that's really sweet. you know, we should hang out more, you're actually really cool"

for the first time, hyunjin didn't reject his offer. the two grew closer ever since, eventually, jisung had mentioned his other passion - space - and their friendship became stronger.

back to present day time, hyunjin and jisung were in their shared dorm room. the faint sound of their clock ticked to represent each passing second. the time being 6:47 pm, around the hour the brightest star fades away and is replaced with the luminous moon.

"jinnie, it's almost time! stop watching that one got7 song, it's literally the 8th time you've watched since we got here" the small male whined.

the dancer looked up from his phone and slipped it in his pocket, "look, you calling my name is literally the bop of the century. i'm just streaming it so it gets the views it deserves"

jisung rolled his eyes and pulled the taller to his feet. "that's enough streaming, for now, we have to go see the moon" the small one said.

"fine! you're lucky i love you more than got7" the tall male sassed, and let the moon lover grabbed his hand.

"let's go you big baby," jisung said and led the taller up three flights of stairs to be able to access the roof of the building.

welcomed by a cold draft, the boys walked over to the ledge with a perfect view of the moon. the dimly light stars were widely scattered across the horizon. the warm colors of the sky turning to the cool night colors jisung adored.

despite the airplanes flying by with their flashing lights, the smaller never glanced away from the moon. he watched it slowly rise higher as the minutes passed, staring with a large smile plastered on his face.

hyunjin moved closer to the smaller in fluffy clothes, trying to find warmth after only having on a t-shirt. regretting not checking the forecast, he clung onto the soft material jisung had on.

the moving and the dancer's poor attempt at creating friction to stay warm distracted jisung. the boy draped and arm around hyunjin's body and pulled him closer. he let the other melt into his arms, curling up like a kitten in jisung's arms and glancing up at the pretty view with the smaller.

"the view is so pretty, ji" hyunjin mumbled softly, letting his head fall onto the rapper's shoulder, "you're pretty too"

the taller had muttered the last part a lot quieter than the first part, but it didn't take a lot of effort for jisung to hear - very clearly- hyunjin's words.

"your pretty too, jinnie" jisung whispered back, "do you want to go back to the dorm? you sound tired"

hyunjin nodded slowly, letting the smaller lead him back to their dorms. his first action was going into his warm bed and wrapping himself in his fluffy blankets.

the rapper had followed into the taller's room soon after, watching as the other's eyes were hardly opening.

"ji, cuddle with me" the dancer spoke, making voice an octave higher and pouting so the other would comply faster, knowing how much jisung loves it when he acts cute.

the smaller smiled at hyunjin's adorable attempt, and gave him a nod, moving beside the taller male and putting his fluffy blankets over them.

draping an arm over the dancer's wait, jisung pulled the boy closer to his body. the taller male turned his body to face jisung, letting out a giggle as he saw the smaller's face.

"you look funny" hyunjin said quietly, staring at how adorable jisung's cheeks looked as they were pressed against the soft bed.

"you look funnier" jisung whispered back, "with your beautiful smile eye smile. gosh you're so pretty"

both boys fell silent. the taller staring with his mouth slightly parted, desperately wanting to say something to prevent such an awkward moment.

"forget it- uh good night, jinnie" the smaller said quickly, tightening his grip on hyunjin with his face now pressed against the pillow.

"night ji" the other said softly, facing the opposite way so jisung wouldn't suffocate any longer.
