𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 ━ hyunsung

three

jisung was saddened when he woke, the large body he had drifted to sleep with vanished. frowning, the small male looked down at the empty spot and sat up to remove the soft blankets he was wrapped in. 

making his way out of the room, he heard a soft, calming voice singing softly to the familiar tune of "i smile" by day6. the small rapper looked up to see hyunjin cooking pancakes while singing with his beautiful voice. 

"you have a pretty voice, jinnie" the shorter muttered softly, leaning on the taller's side and yawning softly.

hyunjin stroked jisung's fluffy dark brown hair, and turned the stove off, "ji, i was making food for us. go sit down at the table, and i'll finish preparing the food"

the taller smiled while watched the sleepy boy waddle to their dining table. he turning his body back to the small stack of pancakes he made and took out two plates, along with syrup they had stored in the back of one of their cabinets.

he carried them one by one to the table before taking a seat next to the smaller. the slumberous boy rubbed his eyes and wrapped his arms around hyunjin's frame. "you should sing more, jinnie, you have an amazing voice" jisung muttered, leaning on the tall one's neck.

"it's nothing like yours, ji" the dancer said softly, "your perfect, heavenly voice inspires me more than any artist"

jisung glanced up and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, "shut up, you're just as amazing"

the taller stared speechlessly and eyed the unfazed male who silently ate his pancakes, taking two off the stack in the center of them. unlike the other, hyunjin held the side of his face, his cheek burned, flustered and in shock by the small one's unexpected kiss.

"aren't you going to eat?" jisung asked, his cheeks stuffed with the pancake he just took a bite out of, "or are you a little shy from a small kiss"

hyunjin removed his hand and added a pancake to his plate, "i'm not shy from y-you kissing me" he responded, "it wasn't even on the lips anyways!"

"i'm sure you would have liked that" the smaller giggled, watching the taller's cute reactions as he looked away to avoid showing jisung his red cheeks. 

the tall male took small bites out of his pancake, letting the smaller tease him for his obvious embarrassment. finishing two pancakes before tackling jisung from the couch he laid on -watching a show about exoplanets - and burying himself in his chest. 

"i can't even eat peacefully without you teasing, gosh, sometimes you really-" hyunjin was in the middle of his sentence when he was cut off as jisung stared at the t.v to check for the number of exoplanets in the solar system.

"wow, at least 4,187 confirmed exoplanets in 3,105 systems! just to know that there might be at least 2,000 more, not discovered-oh, sorry baby" the smaller giggled, "the last time i checked there were 2,342 confirmed exoplanets, seeing how the numbers changed within two years, one day i wish to discover one as well"

hyunjin let out a small squeak, "no it's fine ji, i love seeing you excited about exoplanets. it's just that you said um baby" he said softly, clinging to the smaller's chest.

"you're adorable," jisung said softly, "do you want me to call you that jinnie? you and your obsession with sappy nicknames. why don't why be cliches together?"

the taller let out a tiny whine, "just watch your exoplanets documentary, ji"

"anything for you baby" the smaller responded, sitting up from his laying position and bringing hyunjin onto his lap. the dancer pulled away from jisung's chest and stared blankly at the t.v, attempting to distract himself from the arms wrapped around his waist and the flustering words jisung spoke.

jisung let out a disappointing sigh as the movie rolled out the credits. the taller male curled up on his lap was slightly dozing off but had managed to stay in for the majority of the time to hear the excited astronomy lover's commentary. 

"did it end?" hyunjin asked softly, lifting his head up to stare up at the squirrel-like male.

"yep. also get dressed jinnie, let's find something to do so you won't fall asleep at 2 pm" the smaller said, lifting the boy off his lap before leaving to his room. 

the dancer hopped off the couch and turned off the t.v so he could go back to his room to change. dragging his slow functioning self to his room to find something in his organized closet. deciding on one of his white collared shirts with a pink sweater on top, putting on thin-rimmed glasses to perfect his look.

finally finishing the soft look he created, hyunjin waddled back outside to see his shorter friend waiting by the door. the other had on a black and white striped shirt with a blue denim jacket and the glasses he always wore. 

"where are we going?" the taller out of the two asked, grabbing their dorm keys from a shelf and putting them into one of his pockets.

"i didn't think that far," jisung said sheepishly, "you go out more than me so i was kind of depending on you"

hyunjin quickly ran to his room, leaving the smaller confused until he saw the other coming back with a camera in his hand. "can we go to like one of those boardwalks we pass by when we're at the park? i wanted to get some pictures of the sunset, and we can take my car" he said excitedly. 

"anything you want, besides, we have plenty of time" the smaller replied.

the dancer jumped happily, leading jisung out of their dorm and into the parking lot his car was parked at. "it's in that one park we went to last month for a festival, it has a perfect spot to view the sunset" hyunjin told the other.

"oh yeah," jisung said as he got into the car, "why a sunset though, did one of your classes give you an assignment on it?"

hyunjin turn on the car and fastened his seatbelt, "sunsets take a long time to capture, you have to wait for a perfect moment.  and yeah, my photography class wanted us to capture something beautiful, but sadly we can use people or mine would've been filled with pictures of you"

the smaller rolled his eyes, "but if you did one of yourself, that would've been way more accurate"

"why can't you let me appreciate you" hyunjin whined before looking back at the road in front of him, listening to the sweet giggles of han jisung.
