~Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, and wish right now.

Hindi naman siguro ako mamamatay kung susubukan ko di ba? In fact, I have a freedom to do anything basta hindi nakakasama sa iba right? So, here I am. I closed my eyes and wished.

"Wu Yi Fan by my side please?" I said while looking at the airplane passing by.

Nandito ako sa park malapit sa Condo na tinitirhan ko temporarily. I was sitting at one of the benches here. Every 6 pm pumupunta ako dito. Since tapos na ang klase ko nun. Hindi ko alam pero habit ko narin siguro to. Siguro kase wala naman akong kasama sa Condo ko kaya eto ako ngayon nagliliwaliw muna.

Magandang spot din kase dito sa Park. May playground pa nga dun sa kabilang banda. Di naman kalayuan sa pwesto ko. Tapos may mga nagtitinda ng mga Street Foods, Balloons at kung anu ano pa. Nice place para sa mga magshotang nagde-date at sa mga magkakaibigang naghahang outs kaya mejo madami ding tao dito palagi. Pero don't get me wrong. Di naman ako loner or something. Kumbaga routine ko na talaga to. I have friends of mine, di ko lang sila kasama ngayon kase iba yung schedule nila sa schedule ko. Kaasar nga eh. Every Sunday lang kami nagkikita. Pero pag nagkita naman kami sulit naman.

Nakaramdam naman ako na parang kanina pa may nakatingin saken, kaya napatingin ako sa right side ko. And I was right. May nakatingin nga saken. Yung nakaupong lalaki malapit sa inuupuan ko.

"What?" mejo pataray kong tanong. I usually not talking to strangers, but I don't know what's gotten into me to talk with him. Hindi naman sya mukang nakakatakot or may gagawing masama sayo. He's wearing a cap and a white polo shirt and a light blue jeans and a blue whoa, Kolon Sport huh? Cool. But he's face? Not bad. Actually his style fits him.

"Nothing. Uhm, may I ask you something?" said the guy. Naggesture ako na parang nag-iisip kung papayagan ko ba syang magtanong or hindi. I heard him chuckle.

"Uh. It's fine if it's not okay with you. It's not that important anyway." Sabi nya ulit. Well, hindi naman masama eh. Malay mo itatanong nya lang kung san yung lugar na ganito, anong oras na? Mga ganyan. Muka kaseng hindi tagarito.

"It's okay with me, Go on. What's it?" sabi ko. Teka, bat kami nage-Englishan? Aba ayos na practice to ha.

"I saw you earlier, while the plane was passing by you've make a wish? Why? It's not a shooting star anyway?" he said. May pagkachismoso din to no? Di ko naman kilala. Anyways, ayos lang, kase nga di naman kami magkakilala

"And oh by the way, I'm not eavesdropping. If that's what you think. It's just that, uh you know it's kind of weird for me seeing someone like that" he protested. Haha. This guy's so talkative. Well, dahil di ko naman sya kilala at sigurado naman ako na this is the first and the last night that we'll meet each other. Wala naming masama kung magshare ng konti diba?

"That? It's nothing. I was just inspired by the RNB song Airplanes. And because I actually haven't seen yet any shooting stars. I just want to wish something. Something that I know very well that will never happen. In probability, it's 0.000000000001 percent possibilty to happen." I joked. And he chuckled. Nice. He's making me comfortable with him.

"And so, I pretended that Airplanes is just like a shooting star." I smiled to him and he just nodded.

"Anyways, what's your name?" he asked. Oh noes. Didn't see it coming. Haha. What now Diane? Okay. Ngayong gabi lang naman. Hahaha.

"Diane, and you?" I said.

"Uhh, I'm. Uh, Just call me Kevin" he smiled. Kevin huh? Kevin Wu? English name of Wu YiFan. Haha. Okay. Fangirling mode again. Obsessed here. Joke.

"Nice name Kevin, you remind me of someone. Haha" I said.

"Who?" he asked.

"Just someone." I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Silence. Wala ng umimik samin. Nahiya naman na ako. Parang ang feeling close ko na din kase. Pero bakit ba? Sya din naman eh. It's a tie lang. Haha.

"Can I ask you again something?" pambabasag nya sa katahimikan naming dalawa. I just nodded.

"That wishing on the airplane at the night sky thingy. When did you start it? I'm just curious." He smiled.

"Ahh. When, I really wanted someone by my side. Sounds obsessed right? But who cares? Haha." I said happily as I remember that day. The day when I'm really obsess to have Wu Yi Fan by my side. Sobrang stressed ako sa school works ko nun at kailangan ko talaga ng inspirasyon. Haha. Although my family and friends are one of my inspirations. Tapos may napanood pa akong video kung san nandun si Yi Fan ko. Eh masyado akong tuwang tuwa sa kanya na gusto ko na syang iuwi at idisplay sa bahay namin. Haha. Kidding aside. Aalagaan ko sya kung ganun.

"Ah, I see. I heard what you've wished earlier. Wu Yi Fan by your side? I think there was .99 percent possibility to happen" He smiled again. Kanina pa ngiti ng ngit tong lalaking to aa. Nakakahawa tuloy.

Nice one. Sana nga magdilang anghel sya ano? Haha. Nauubusan na ako ng English.

"Wait. Do you know him?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, Yes. Oh wait, here's an airplane. Go on! Make a wish. Maybe that one will grant your wish!" he said excitedly. Dahil sa pagkagulat at pagkaexcited nadin siguro kaya napatakip nadin ako ng mata at nagwish. Again, I repeated my wish.

"Wu Yi Fan by my side." I heaved a deep sigh. "Please?" I continued.

As I open my eyes. Shocked was all over my face, I think. Kumurap kurap pa ako ng ilang beses at sinampal sampal ang muka ko to check kung nananaginip ba ako.

"Aww!" mejo napalakas yung huling sampal ko. At dali dali naming hinawakan ng taong nasa harap ko yung pisngi ko. I think nagblush ako. Ang bilis ng kabog ng dibdib ko. At hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko.

"W-w-wu Y-yi Fan? Omygod! Ikaw ba talaga yan?" mejo nagtaka sya sa sinabi ko. Saka ko napagtanto na hindi nga pala to nakakaintindi ng tagalog.

"Ah. I mean. Is that you? Really? Seriously? Am I not dreaming?" I said continuously.

"Yes. It's me. Kevin Wu. Wu Yi Fan. Whatever you call." He said smiling. Oh Earth, Air, Water and Fire. Oh Heaven! Lord! Thank You for this blessing. Everything is a blessing. And this one is the BEST!

I grin secretly and said. "Can I call you mine?"

And in that, he smiled and pinches my cheeks and hugs me. "Thank you for being my fan. Thank you for loving me in that way. Even if it looks obsessed, I think it's cute. Haha. And that wish upon the airplane was very unique. And I like it. Told you, the last plane grants your wish" inalis na nya yung pagkayakap saken and he smiled again for heaven's sake. I'm melting. Can you not?! Geez. Inayos ko na ang sarili ko kahit na sobrang hindi parin ako makapaniwala sa mga nangyare.

"But, I think it's not the airplane that grants your wish. I guess it was God, because he's the one creating our fate anyways. And I guess, this is where our fate leads us, to meet each other, and to have each other." He said.

Oh My God! Did he really say that? Pero bakit parang ang bilis naman ata? I can't say anything.

"I want to know more about you Diane. Would you allow me?" I nodded twice, thrice and so on habang naguunahang mag labasan yung mga luha sa mata ko. I guess tears of joy?

I composed myself and look at the night sky. "Thank you Lord" I said sincerely and smiled. And for the second time, he hugged me and I hug him back.

Umalis ako sa pagkakayap dahil may bigla akong naalala.

"Where's Kevin?" I asked him.

"Here"

At pinakita nya saken yung fake na muka. Di ko alam tawag dun. Potek! Pang disguise! Ang galing din ano! Mabuti nalang di na matao ngayon. At I guess ako nalang ang nakakakilala kay Wu Yi Fan KO dito.

"Hi Kevin!" I joked.

The last thing I knew. We laughed at that moment and the rest was history.

Sinong mag aakala na pwede pala itong mangyare? How many times I've tried to wish. And that's the only thing that I've wished for. To have him by my side, and to have him in my whole life. That's the BEST blessing that God gave me. And it all started because of that Airplane.
