It's been a week since Toad returned to Beacon. The girls were coming up with ideas on how to get Toad to forgive them. His girlfriend Erina was annoyed by this and decided to tell them off. In the meantime, Toad has been bullying everyone that bullied him, but much worse. The girls couldn't take the pain that was given to them, which made them feel worse for bullying him in the past.

Erina: listen you bitches. Toad doesn't want anything to do with you, not after what you did to him.
Blake: please just let us talk to him! We regret what we did to him!
Erina: what made you bully him anyway?
Yang: we don't remember. All we know is that team CRDL tricked us into thinking that Toad was weak.
Ruby: and we believed them.
Erina: even IF you are telling the truth, Toad has a deep seeded hatred against you. He won't forgive you so easily.
Yang: what can we do to make him forgive us?! We'll do anything!
Erina: did you try to confess your feelings to him?
Blake: no, not yet.
Erina: don't bother anyway. He won't want you even if you begged.
Blake: but I love him!
Erina: then you should've thought of that before you decided to bully him! He loves me but he despises you girls.
Blake: how did you become his girlfriend?
Erina: heh! Like I'M gonna tell you.

This broke Blake's heart. Timeskip. It was during lunch, Toad and Erina had their lunch together and started kissing. Team RWBY saw with complete jealousy.

Yang: how dare she kiss my man!
Blake: YOUR man?! He belongs to me!
Velvet: YOU?! Don't give me that bullshit Belladonna! If anything, he's mine!
Ruby: guys just shut the fuck up! It's our fault he hates us in the first place! And now we're paying the price for it! Now, how do we get Toad to forgive us?

Another Timeskip.

Ruby: um Toad? Can we talk to you?
Toad: *growls* what the fuck do you want now?
Ruby: well, the five months you were gone, we were depressed. We didn't do much of anything. We hated ourselves for what we did. We've even considered committing suicide. The whole time you were gone, we finally realized that we love you. We should've told you before and we're sorry for bullying you. So please forgive us.
Toad: tch. A simple apology won't cut it. If you want my forgiveness, you're gonna have to earn it.
Ruby: we'll do whatever it takes because we love you.
Toad: yeah right. Like I'd believe that.
