It's going to be in Amber's POV.
Amber was always a spoiled child. Yet she wasn't like normal teenagers, she didn't stay cooped up in her room all day, she enjoyed company and talked to her parents all the time.
She has always been a fan of vampires and wondered what it would be live in a world where they existed.
Two weeks before her birthday, a new boy arrives at school.
He is dark and mysterious and for some reason, Amber can't stop thinking about him.
One week before her birthday, this boy brings her to the beach and gives her the unexpected answers she was looking for.
When she gets home that night she asks her parents about it.
And they tell her about how she is a werewolf and about her mate.
The mysterious boy happens to be that person. But after hearing the history of what her family's mates did to them, she doesn't want a mate. So she does the only thing she can, runs.
