Im coming to get you

Jac's POV

My father had died when I was 15 leaving the alpha title to me. I had to go through training and battle tactics and all that other stuff, early. I hadn't found my mate yet, and I was waiting for her everyday.

I had just sent my beta, Travis and my third in command, Austin to kidnap a member of the broken shadow pack. Our packs had been sworn enemies ever since they had killed my father's mate. This was payback.

I was in my office, deciding what to do with my prisoner when I heard Travis through the mind link, ' We have a girl coming in right now, sir.'

'Thank you Travis. Show our new guest to her room and I'll be there soon,' I responded knowing he doesn't like being nice, but only hurting and killing people. It may be mean, but, you gotta do what you gotta do.

I got up from my desk and started making my way to the guest room we had chosen for her. My boots pounded against the wood, until I was stopped in my tracks.

Inside of the room a teenage girl looking at the ground, avoiding eye contact. She had long golden-blond hair and the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. She was about 5'4 and tan skin. Her scent was intoxicating. Fresh roses and chocolate. The two together made me drool.

"You can leave now, boys," I ordered and signaled towards the door. The girl looked shocked and I could tell she was scared shirtless about having to be alone with me in the same room.

I just gave her a gentle smile, " Now what's your name sweetie and how old are you."

She looked extremely nervous," My names Alyssa and I'm 15, turning 16 tomorrow." Oh that would make sense. Tomorrow she would find her mate. I already had a strong feeling that it was me, everything about her drew me in.

I was saddened that I would have to wait for her birthday. but I was waiting all these years, I could wait one more night, right?

Wrong.

All night I tossed and turned, I couldn't fall asleep. I was constantly checking the time. 10:54 oh god I might need to lock myself up so I don't go over to her room. I tried plugging in my headphones and listening to music. I couldn't get her out of my mind. No matter how much I tried, her face would always spear in my mind.

'You have to wait for her to find out, Jac, otherwise she would be afraid of us,' Alex said trying to calm me down.

'I've been waiting, Alex, for years I've been waiting for her, and knowing she is just down the hall and me not being able to go to her, kills me.'

'I know, me too,' he sighed before adding, 'you know, I bet if you slept, time would go faster,' he teased.

I zoned in on my music again. It wasn't before long before I had gotten tired. And soon enough, I was dreaming about life, with my mate, in the future.

Melanie's POV

It was now dark out, Jaxon lying beside me. I laid my head on his chest and felt his heart bearing beside my ear. His arm was wrapped around me.

After him finding me in my favorite spot, the flower field, he had promised to stay by my side and that everything would be okay.

He truly did seem like he meant it. I felt someone trying to talk to me in my mind so I let them in.

'Melanie, tell Alyssa she has to come home or else I'll come over there and beat her,' I cringed at the voice of Crystal.

'Crystal I don't know what your talking about, Alyssa's not by me.'

'We'll she's not back from the mall, and she would have come home before dark,' she did seem kind of worried, but I couldn't think about that right now. All I could think about was if Alyssa was okay. Is she hurt? Where is she? Who is she with? How long has she been gone?

'I don't know where she would be, we should tell the alpha.'

'And ruin my vacation, heck no, you can go tell him.' And the old Crystal was back. I jumped out of Jaxons arms. Running towards the door not caring that I was in my pajamas.

'Alpha Aaron, can we meet in the living room?' I hurried as I was still running.

He answered tiredly,' sure I'll be there as fast as I can.'

" Melanie, wait up!" Of course Jaxon was awake. I was hoping he would stay asleep. He was so cute when he sleeps. I couldn't stop and wait for him so I just yelled at him, " hurry up" I was almost to the living room. Gosh why does the pack house have to be so big. I was panting by the time I got there. As I was catching my breathe, I noticed Aaron casually walking down his stairs. Seriously!?!?!

Just think about alyssa, Melanie .

'You can calm down sis, everything will be fine,' angel scolded. She may be my wolf but sometimes I can really hate her.

'Aw you know all you have is love for me.' she laughed. I just growled at her, 'shut up' that just made her laugh harder before I blocked her out.

"Melanie, what's wrong? Why did you ask to speak to me?"

I bit my lip nervously, "Alpha Aaron, one of the lack members is missing and no one knows where she is, last time we knew where she was, was at the mall, but she never returned home." Then I whispered loudly enough for then to hear me, " it's Alyssa who is missing, sir," I chanced a look at him. I think he was talking to someone and then he sighed with a pained expression.

"Your right Melanie, I have contacted all my guards and tried reaching Alyssa, but there was no answer." Then he looked me in the eyes, " some of my men believe that she may have been kidnapped, and the only pack I could think of that would do that is the Sapphire Falls pack, saying that we have been enemies for so long."

"I'm going to try and call Alyssa, if she doesn't answer, could we call the pack and see if they have any new prisoners?" I asked hoping to save my best friend.

"Of course, she is a member of this pack and we protect each other, so try and call her."

"Yes Alph-," I was cut of by Aaron," Melanie, dear, just call me Aaron." he smiled at me before walking away to let me call her.

Ring...ring...ring...ri- "what do you want?"

"What do I want, seriously Alyssa!!! Where are you? I have been worried sick! Almost the whole pack is looking for you!" I took a deep breath being thankful that she answered and giving her some time to answer.

"Sorry Melanie, I was kidnapped when I was at the mall but I'm ok though, they haven't hurt me. And the whole pack? Really?" She rushed, knowing that she needed to explain.

"I'm just glad your ok, what pack are you at?" Sighing I already knew the answer.

"I think it's the Sapphire pack, I'm not sure, the alpha's name is Jac." giving me as much info as she could, it sounded like she was hiding something though.

"I'll tell Aaron and you will be home so you can blow out your pretty pink candles," I laughed at her.

"Okay, bye Melanie, love you."

"Love you too, Alyssa, see you soon," I felt a single tear trail down my cheek before hanging up and running to give the info to Aaron.

I'm going to get you back Alyssa, no matter what.
